The only way you can actually be filled is when you’re dependent on the Spirit of God. Seeking Him daily. Asking Him for revelation. Putting off the old nature you already know is destroying you..

But you have to want to first..

Here’s the thing. You’re not enough. You never were. But God knew exactly what He created you for, and He sent His Son because He saw purpose in you worth saving..

There’s nothing you can do to be looked at better by God. Your worth was already decided in Jesus, whether you feel like it or not..

Think about the odds of you even being here. The s***m, the egg, the chances of it. Think about how the sun, the moon, the stars, gravity itself all yield to Him just to keep you alive..

If the sun was any closer we’d burn up. If it didn’t rise we’d freeze. There’s a plan for all of us, but we don’t see it when we’re disconnected from the vine 🔥

After my divorce, you know what actually killed me? It wasn’t the relationship ending, even though I was completely broken. It wasn’t my kids healing. It wasn’t that I kept running to drugs and alcohol..

It was the fear of the unknown. Where do I go from here. What if I don’t put my best foot forward. What if I do and I still fail..

What if, what if, what if..

Then God brought me to my knees and flipped the question on me. “Buddy, what if what. What if it does work out. What if everything you put forward today pays off in the long run. What else do you have to lose”..

Once I put down the drugs, the alcohol, the women, the fear.. I realized fear is just belief in the worst outcome that hasn’t even happened yet. You’re manifesting something that isn’t even real yet..

When we believe God instead, that’s real faith 🔥

Culture tries to tell women there’s a certain time you’re supposed to be married and have kids, or it’s already too late for you..

I fell for that. And it kept making me settle in that area of my life..

I had consistent beliefs that weren’t helping me at all, I just didn’t know it yet..

I had to stop and ask myself where that fear was actually rooted. Why did I keep needing to fill that void and keep settling to do it..

It was fear. Plain and simple..

When I came to Christ I realized something. There’s so much peace in knowing it’s on His timeline, not culture’s..

That’s when I actually got free from the fear I didn’t even know was running my life 🔥

I’m about to give you some tough love. It might cut you a little. But I’m telling you right now, this is coming from a place of love with truth. You can’t have truth without love, and you can’t have love without truth..

I spent years trying to overcome things in my own strength. Two years celibate. Four years off alcohol, drugs, secular music, p**n, ma********on. I was always trying so hard, and it was never enough..

Let me ask you something. Has there ever been a season in your life where you were actually righteous on your own.. where you did good and just stayed there..

There hasn’t. Because if you could’ve stayed righteous in your own strength, you never would’ve backslid..

There’s none righteous but Him. There’s none good but Him. His name is Jesus, the name above every name 🔥
