The New England Child Life Professionals, Inc. Executive Board is now accepting nominations for: President, Secretary, Member at Large A, and Technology Officer.

If you or someone you know would be a committed, dynamic addition to our board and is interested in helping child life professionals in our area learn, grow, and network, please consider nominating yourself or them*. Nominees must have been NECLP members in the previous cycle (2025-2026) as well as the current membership year. Member during 2025-2026 and interested in running? Renew now, and you will be eligible.

Executive Board meetings take place approximately 8-10 times a year at a mutually convenient location or by Zoom.

Nominations are due to Sarah Framarin at [email protected] by July 21st.

Please refer to the bylaws on our website for nomination criteria and additional information.

*Nominator should confirm with nominee to assess their interest in running before nominating.

Save the Date!

Our annual fall conference will be held on Monday October 19, 2026 at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, CT.

The executive board recognizes that this location is a lengthy distance away from some members. We have explored venue locations throughout New England and we just can’t beat the hospitality The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides! By holding our annual conference at camp, NECLP can continue to offer low registration fees to support affordable professional development. To alleviate the lengthy commute, we plan to offer an overnight option again this year. Details will be released soon.

Join New England Child Life Professionals, Inc. for an afternoon of professional development, networking, and celebrating Child Life Month.

Sunday March 29, 2026 at Clover Road Brewing in Hudson, MA

The event will take place from 2pm-5pm and include 1.5 PDUs in Professional Responsibility. Engage in round table discussions focused on Therapeutic Practice, Pain Management, and Bereavement.
