women being told they’re “too much” for centuries and then acting surprised when we have some rage to unpack??? make it make sense.

truth is, there is wisdom in our anger. there is power in our rage. there is something sacred in finally letting ourselves feel it all.

come gather with us this September as we make space for the emotions we were taught to suppress + reclaim the fire within us. let’s normalize getting a little pi**ed off 💅🏽

i’ve been finding myself reflecting on my work a lot lately. after the busiest doula year of my *life* (thankful grateful blessed tysm !!!!), i’ve slowed down on births a bit and stepped more deeply into the world of energy + bodywork. and it has been so fu***ng magical.

i’ve been learning so much about trusting my hands, listening to subtle energy, allowing healing to move through me. and it’s truly stretched me in the best way possible.

anywayyyyy, just came here to give an actual life update + tell yall that i will not be taking births at this current moment in time. feels so weird to say that but im in my spiritual energy healing girl era OKAY!?

in case you didn’t already get fomo, just wanted to let yall know that this gathering was so healing, so wholesome, and so much fun. (even though some of us wore the wrong bra + had to hold our ti***es while we danced. we won’t name names)

I like my America seasoned. Spicy, even.
Why water it down? Why dull it?
Make it flavorful.
Make it robust.

I like my America diverse, not divided.
I want an endless array of accents crackling
and time honored traditions.
Why shouldn’t you be proud of who you are
and where you’re from??

I like my America colorful and kaleidoscopic,
quilted with cultures.
Where we all sit at the same table.
Where we all dance to each other’s music.
Where we learn to say, “I’m grateful you’re here”,
in whatever language it takes for them to know it.
To feel it.

Bring your heritage, your lineage,
your ancestry, and heart.
Bring your stories, your wildest dreams,
your creativity and fiery spirit.

Everything you’re made from,
everything you’re made of - bring it.
I like my America better with all of us in it.
