The Mineral Wellness Center is a 501 (c) 3 non profit that has been around for 3 years helping people with mental health (anxiety, stress, grief, addiction, and so many other issues) We want people to know that they are loved! They can fond freedom from the issues that they are dealing with! And we want to help erase the stigma that comes with seeking counseling and mental health. We have a benevolence fund for those that can not afford counseling sessions that can be applied for which can greatly decrease to financial burden. There are so many barriers to getting counseling that we hope to ease some of those burdens.
We have relied on self funding this mission as well as local grants and we are excited to have a grant writer on our board that applies to every grant outside of Mineral Wells as well which is a huge blessing!! We have 2 counselors now and one more almost done with his certification. I love what I get to do here in Mineral Wells and i look forward to having more funds to be able to increase the number of people we can offer grants to!
