The first confirmed reports of morels for Minnesota in 2026 are in Ramsey, Wright, and Olmsted counties. The lorchels are also confirmed in Hennepin county. Lorchels are the name for the edible "false morels", in this case, Gyromitra korfii and Gyromitra brunnea.

Whether you're looking for morels or lorchels, remember to spend some time giving back to the land you harvest from. Bring along a bag to harvest trash. Spend 20 minutes pulling up invasive species, like garlic mustard, buckthorn, greater celandine, squill, and others. And work to plant native species in that same footprint.

Good luck and have fun out there!

Say goodbye to our beloved Jasmine Travel Hair Powder! With the state of the world our little business is going to do some shape shifting. Small changes to help us weather this unpredictable retail landscape. Our last remaining littles are available on the website and our big, 4oz Jasmine Hair Powder will still be available.
