This morning was admin. The boring, grinding kind. Onboarding paperwork. 401(k) contributions. We moved the HSA into QQQ and VTI.

I have two businesses. One sits with people inside the hardest conversations of their lives and helps them hear what they’ve been missing. The other finds small business owners tools they didn’t know existed and builds the workflows that actually run.

Different work. Same obsession.

Nine weeks ago a surgeon inserted cadaver cartilage into my ankle. Cleaned out the damage, spun in blood plasma, sealed it up. Six weeks of no weight on it.

I went to a dance performance during that time. On a scooter.

I watched my whole community move from a seat I didn’t choose. The floor looked different from down there. So did the people on it.

Tonight I go back. Standing person. Bare feet on the floor.
