Hello - our beloved friend, stylist, and coworker Rei has sustained injuries and will be out on medical leave. Here is their GoFundMe link and message to all below:
“As some of you know, I unfortunately two weeks ago I was in an accident involving an electric scooter, and just got confirmation that I will need surgery to fix my ACL on my right knee. Surgery at the moment is in the process of being scheduled, as I navigate home support and finances after surgery, but I will be returning to a limited schedule starting next Thursday the 10th.
Going forward, at this time I will only be taking haircuts and easy single process colors Sundays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12-6. While I understand the limitations are frustrating, I am happy to recommend the other folks at Nine Keys or give personalized recommendations if asked.
Once I have surgery, I will be out for a minimum of 6 weeks or possibly more depending on how much needs to be repaired. I ask that during this time, for kindness and patience from everyone towards me and the fellow Nine Keys Staff as I am navigating this medical crisis. The situation isn't ideal but we're working through it the best we can.
