👶🏽 DoulaBaby 245 - Born February 2026! Whew 😅 this was the shortest birth that I’ve attended. Within 5 mins of my arrival babygirl was born. I was in route praying I didn’t miss your arrival. Your Mom is so strong 💪🏽 and stayed home until she absolutely needed to go in. When she arrived 10 cm - way to go Momma 🥰🦸🏽‍♀️😍🎉 Thank you for trusting in me to support you during this journey. ❤️

2026 Local Public Health Hero Awards - thank you so much for this honor. It truly means a lot to us to be recognized for the work that is deeply rooted in both history and community. As Doula’s and lactation professionals, especially those of us serving the black and indigenous community we carry forward a legacy that often goes unspoken Black women have been central to infant feeding for generations, sometimes by choice, but often through systems of exploitation, like wet nursing during slavery. Yet today we’re still working to reclaim breast-feeding as something that belongs to us, supports our health, and strengthens our families. We are educating those who support our families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We’re changing the narrative for one from one of disparity to one of empowerment. Sierra Leone 🦸🏽‍♀️🏆🥰👌🏽
