All presenters receive an extended membership just for participating!

An 11-month-old infant was well until 2 days ago when she developed a cough and clear nasal discharge. The rest of her family has similar symptoms. Six hours ago, the cough worsened, so the child was brought to the emergency department. On initial evaluation, the infant has moderate respiratory distress with bilateral wheezing, abdominal thrusting, and nasal flaring. SpO2 is 89% on room air. Chest radiograph shows bilateral patchy infiltrates.
What is the most appropriate management?
