🎡 **𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀!** 🎡

Who says you have to fight the crowds to experience a little State Fair magic? 😊

We brought the fun right into our backyard—with games, prizes, face painting, tattoos, family visits, plenty of laughs, and even a little competitive spirit. From “Knock It Off” and “Toss Your Cookies” to spending time with family and furry friends, our backyard was full of life.

But our favorite part wasn't any particular game.

It was seeing the smiles. ❤️

It was watching residents surrounded by people they love. Hearing laughter across the patio. Seeing generations come together.

At SPIRIT, we believe getting older shouldn't mean giving up the traditions, celebrations, silliness, or experiences that make life fun.

Sometimes you just have to bring the State Fair to you. 🎯🎈🐶❤️

I was the first resident of Spirit Care Homes and live there for 10 months starting July 1, 2023 while recovering from severe hospital deconditioning, brain trauma and sepsis. The care provided by the caregivers was excellent. The food was appetizing and the chef provided a good variety. You always felt that you were part of a family and there was something new happening which made the time go quickly.Watching the development of this new home as each new resident came to live there, and not having cognitive challenges myself, I can attest to the fact that there was one resident who compromised the quality of life for all the other residents and was extremely difficult to provide care for.That individual required one-on-one care and supervision, which was almost impossible to provide and still attend to the needs of the other residents. However, the staff at Spirit Care Homes handle it effectively. Eventually decisions needed to be made for the betterment of the entire community and the quality of the environment for the others living at Spirit Care Homes. These decisions are not easy, but must be made causing the family of that individual to be disgruntled or upset by needing to move that resident.I feel that the care I received at Spirit Care Homes is the reason I eventually was able to return to my home and family in 2024.

💙 Happy Father's Day from Spirit Care Homes 💙

This Father's Day, we celebrated the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have touched so many lives with their love, wisdom, strength, and relentless support.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon outdoors surrounded by family, friends, caregivers, delicious food, and plenty of laughter. As stories were shared and memories revisited, it was a wonderful reminder that some of life's greatest treasures are the moments spent together.

Many of the men we honored have spent decades caring for others, building families, serving their communities, and creating legacies that continue through future generations. Today, we celebrate not only who they were, but who they continue to be, sources of love, guidance, and inspiration.

At Spirit Care Homes, we are grateful for the privilege of helping create meaningful moments like these every day.

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads and father figures in our community. 💙

The excitement is contagious as our residents gather to cheer on Team USA in their World Cup matchup against Paraguay! 🇺🇸

Decked out in red, white, and blue, our residents and caregivers embraced the spirit of the game.

Win or lose, the real victory is spending time together, celebrating our love of soccer, and making memories with friends who feel like family.

Honored and grateful to be recognized at the 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 Supplier Showcase this week.

When we started 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 just over three years ago, our vision was simple: A world where assisted living is defined by feeling loved, cared for, safe, and connected to others in the comfort of 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲.

While awards and recognition are appreciated, what means the most is reflecting on how far we've come:

*Growing from a vision into a thriving care community
*Building an incredible team of caregivers and leaders
*Serving families during some of the most important moments of their lives
*Creating meaningful partnerships throughout Minnesota's business community

Entrepreneurship can be challenging, especially in healthcare. There are long days, difficult decisions, and constant obstacles. But there is also tremendous purpose in knowing that the work we do positively impacts the lives of residents and families every day.

Thank you to 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗔, the mentors, partners, and fellow business owners who continue to support minority-owned businesses and create opportunities for growth.

Today, we honored 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 surrounded by sunshine, laughter, family, and gratitude.

For many of our residents, this holiday carries deep meaning. It’s a reminder of generations who served, sacrificed, and helped shape the freedoms we enjoy today.

At 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀, we believe celebrations like this are about more than decorations and themed outfits. They’re about creating moments of connection, bringing families together, and making sure our residents continue to feel included in the traditions they’ve cherished throughout their lives.

From patriotic colors to time spent outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather, today was filled with smiles and meaningful moments.

Today, we celebrated the women who have spent their lives loving, teaching, comforting, sacrificing, and holding families together. 💐

Mother’s Day at 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 was filled with flowers, smiles, stories, and quiet moments of appreciation. Watching our residents light up while holding their bouquets was a beautiful reminder that motherhood never stops being part of who someone is.

Many of the mothers in our home have raised children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. They’ve built families, carried traditions, and created memories that continue to live on through generations.

Today was about honoring all of that.

At 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀, we believe moments like these matter deeply, because every resident deserves to feel celebrated, valued, and loved.

Yesterday the 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 stood in a room at the 𝗔𝗹𝘇𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮, surrounded by hundreds of people who share that same mission.

When the screen lit up — $𝟭.𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 — it wasn’t just a number. It was hope. It was progress. It was a reminder that none of us are doing this work alone.

Because for us, this isn’t just an industry.

It’s the faces we see every day.
It’s the residents who trust us with their care.
It’s the families who place their loved ones in our hands.

The past three years have reinforced something we believe deeply:

Today, we had some very special visitors at SPIRIT Care Homes, soft, cuddly Bunny Besties!! And just like that, the room changed.

Smiles appeared.
Hands reached out.
Conversations started.

There’s something powerful about moments like these. They’re simple, but they create connection, comfort, and joy, especially for those living with memory loss.
