Texas h**p community,
Today, the Fifteenth Court of Appeals denied the emergency motion and lifted the administrative stay. While this is not the outcome many of us were hoping for, the fight is far from over.
We want to recognize and thank Mark Bordas, Cynthia Cabrera, the .h**p.business.council , and everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes to defend Texas farmers, retailers, manufacturers, employees, and consumers. These individuals have spent countless hours and resources fighting for an industry that supports thousands of Texas jobs and small businesses.
This battle has never been just about h**p. It’s about protecting lawful businesses, preserving livelihoods, and ensuring that Texans have a voice in the laws that affect them.
As we move forward, we have to ask an important question:
Who are our elected officials really listening to?
Are they listening to the farmers who invested their life savings into legal businesses? The small business owners creating jobs in their communities? The veterans, patients, and consumers who rely on these products? Or are they listening to special interests and political pressure?
The Texas h**p industry is made up of real people, real families, and real businesses. We are not giving up. We will continue to advocate, educate, and fight for sensible policies that support Texans rather than destroy their livelihoods.
Stay informed. Stay engaged. Stay united.
The fight continues.
