Recovery is worth showing up for

Recovery changes more than one life.

It changes families.
It changes children’s futures.
It changes what gets passed down to the next generation.

During Recovery Month, we are celebrating every woman who has made the courageous decision to say, I want something different.

But we also celebrate the people who stand beside her.

The donors. The churches. The businesses. The families. The friends. The community members who may never live on our campus but believe that women deserve the opportunity to find freedom.

That is what Redemption Roundup is about.

On October 1, we are gathering our community to round up resources so that when the next woman calls and says, “I’m ready,” we can be here to say, “There is hope. Come home.”

This isn’t just a gala ticket.

It is a seat at the table for the work of redemption happening right here in Missoula.

🤎 Join us at Redemption Roundup.
Buy your tickets. Bring your friends. Fill a table.

Pray With Us

As we prepare for Spiritual Emphasis, September 10 through 13, we are asking our community to pray with us.

Please pray that walls would come down, hearts would soften, truth would be received, and every woman would encounter the love of Jesus in a deeply personal way. Pray for our students, staff, speakers, worship leaders, and every person serving behind the scenes.

Recovery requires courage, but it also requires surrender. We are believing that God will meet us in both.

Would you pause today and pray for the women on our campus by name, even if the only name you know is “daughter of God”?

Comment “praying” or send us a private message if your church or small group will cover the weekend in prayer.

“And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

What Recovery Means to Me - Allison Janis - Peer Support Specialist

“Recovery, to me, means peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding.

There was a time in my life when everything felt like chaos. I was trapped in addiction, trapped in a lifestyle that was slowly destroying me. I was a slave to substances, to my choices, and to a way of living that was leading me closer and closer to death.

But recovery gave me something I never thought I could have again: freedom.

Jesus said, ‘My peace I give you, my peace I leave with you.’ And today, I understand what that means. Recovery has taught me that peace doesn't mean that everything around me is perfect. It means that even in the middle of the storm, I don't have to be controlled by the chaos anymore.

The Bible says, ‘Who the Son sets free is free indeed.’ And I believe that with my whole heart.

Today, I am free from the chains that once held me. I have the opportunity to make different choices, to rebuild relationships, to find purpose, and to become the person God created me to be.

Recovery isn't just about what I stopped doing. It's about the life I was given back.

I have peace. I have hope. I have freedom.

And most importantly, I have Jesus.

"Thank You, Jesus, for setting me free."

A little Redemption Roundup sneak peek… and something NEW is coming to our Hope Boxes! 🤎

There are so many pieces coming together for Redemption Roundup, and I’m excited for you to see what we’ve been working on.

One of those pieces is our Hope Boxes. These boxes are filled with handmade items from the women on our campus, and now we get to add a little more local Missoula goodness with Lake Missoula Tea!

I love that these boxes are becoming more than just a collection of beautiful things. Each one represents purpose, partnership, and women learning to create, work, and build something they can be proud of.

And you’ll get to experience them at Redemption Roundup!

So get your tickets, grab your people, and come see what we’ve been working on. It’s going to be a fun night, but even more importantly, it’s a night that helps us continue to Put Hope Within Reach Until All Live Free.

Recovery has a different meaning for every person who has fought for it.

For some, it means waking up without fear. For some, it means a child beginning to trust again. For others, it means discovering that their past no longer gets the final word.

Today, Hali - Missoula intern answers one simple question: What does recovery mean to you?

This is what hope looks like.

Leave an encouraging word below for every person choosing recovery today!

September is Recovery Month.

At the Missoula Women & Children’s Campus, we see every day that recovery is more than leaving something behind. It is learning to live free. It is telling the truth, rebuilding trust, choosing accountability, discovering purpose, and allowing Jesus to restore what addiction tried to steal.

This month, we will share what recovery really looks like through stories of courage, surrender, community, and restoration.

We do not celebrate addiction. We celebrate the brave decision to choose recovery, the families being restored, and the God who is still writing stories of redemption.

Recovery is possible. Hope is here.

What a beautiful day with Hungry Horse Chapel!

We are so blessed by your faithfulness, your generosity, and the heart you have for this ministry. Thank you for believing in the work God is doing through Adult & Teen Challenge and for choosing to come alongside our women in such a meaningful way.

Days like today remind us that ministry was never meant to be done alone. God brings His people together, each saying yes to their part, and something beautiful happens.

Hungry Horse Chapel, thank you for your YES. We are grateful for you and so excited to see what the Lord has in store next!

🎉 IT’S Dusty BIRTHDAY!! 🎉

Today we get to celebrate one of the absolute best!

If you know Dusty, you know she brings a whole lot of heart, a whole lot of humor, and just the right amount of sass everywhere she goes. ❤️ She is fiercely loyal, incredibly hardworking, and deeply committed to the mission God has placed in front of her.

Dusty has been such a faithful part of the Missoula HUB for years, and watching her take our thrift store and help build it into SuperThrift - Missoula has been incredible. But what we love most about Dusty isn’t what she accomplishes. It’s who she is.

She loves people well. She shows up. She fights for the mission. She makes us laugh. She leads with tenacity, and underneath all of it is a heart that genuinely wants to see lives changed.

Dusty, we are so thankful the Lord placed you on this team. Our campus, our students, SuperThrift, and all of us are better because you’re part of this family.

Help us wish Dusty a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!! 🎂🎉
