It’s Native American Heritage Month!

Did you know that?

It’s a whole month to share Native American culture, stories, and traditions.

While I try to keep these things alive majority of the year, this month is when most folks will hear about it.

So this month, take time to intentionally learn about Native Americans.

We are a diverse group of people.

It’s a time to reflect on the past and celebrate our enduring heritage as native people!

I’ll be sharing some recipes that we make at home that are a part of our Lumbee heritage!

No regrets, no foggy memories, and definitely no Halloween hangover here! Waking up fresh, clear-headed, and sharing an amazing hotel breakfast together tastes better than anything else.
​There is nothing quite like the peace of mind that comes with waking up fully present. So grateful for clear mornings, good food, and doing this journey of sobriety side by side. 💙✨

Giving them a smile and some candy is a great way to encourage our youth to find positive, wholesome ways to spend their time—far away from crime, alcohol, and drugs—isnt that something we should always encourage. Let’s keep supporting our youth as they choose fun, community, and good times! 🦇🍬
