Transitions: Doula & Life Services is expanding our postpartum support team and is looking for compassionate, reliable professionals to provide in-home support for new parents and their babies throughout SE SD, NW Iowa, and SW Minnesota.

We're Looking For:

✨ Postpartum Doulas
✨ Newborn Care Specialists
✨ Individuals interested in training for a career in postpartum support

What You'll Do:
-Support families during the fourth trimester
-Provide newborn care education and guidance
-Offer emotional and practical support to new parents
-Assist with feeding, recovery, sleep, and adjustment to life with a new baby
-Help families feel confident, supported, and cared for

Today, the SDDOH and the South Dakota Maternal and Infant Health Task Force announced the release of a new five-year strategic plan (2026–2030) aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of mothers and infants across the state.

It's World Doula Week, and we're celebrating RiAnna!

RiAnna is our Mitchell area doula (she's in Ethan, SD!). The Transitions Team appreciates her wit and her outside-the-box thinking. She's passionate about providing support to her community, and that shows in her work with the maternity closet non-profit!
