There comes a time where parting from a place is both satisfying and immensely painful. I have lived in a beautifully complex city with its ups and downs. Love and loss. Joy and pain. Hope and fear. These 6 years has shown me so much about living and existing. Where connections can be lost and found all at once. Where moments of joy can bring pain and moments of hurt make you realize when to rise to the occasion and when to wait and when to speak. I created wisdom from the Styx to be a place where people can be met at where they are at and learn how to grow for themselves.
With all that being said I will say this.
Reading is an art and a skill. 17 years have taught me that just because you have cards and a gift doesn’t mean it should ALWAYS be monetized for greed and gain. WHAT IT SHOULD BE is a treasure in world filled with immediate gratification divination is not that.
There are times where I have had to say hard things. And I feel bad for charging money and many will say “you pay what you get” I don’t believe in that philosophy. I will always say pay what you feel this reading was worth to you. Or bring an item to trade. Many times over people will pay but I’ve had the pleasure to see what people feel their time is worth in items.
I know this seems like a ramble and apologies if it is such. However, I feel that deep down. Should anyone seek a reading from me. Know that I will only speak what the cards tell me about you.
May you find what you are looking for in life and hold on to the communities for its community that finds us weathering any storm. Not promotion. Not exposure. And Not for free. For time is a valuable and waning.
Just because people say it’s your chance to be seen….. that spot light doesn’t last but who are you when it’s not shining does.
