GALILEAN MOONS
“In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.” Galileo Galilei
CALLISTO 186.16 HZ DEEP RED ~ GANYMEDE 217.11 HZ ORANGE ~ EUROPA 218.72 HZ ORANGE ~ IO 219.53 HZ ORANGE
Jupiter has four massive satellites collectively called the Galilean moons. Discovered independently in 1610 by Galileo Galilei and Simon Marius, these were the first celestial objects found to orbit something other than the Earth or the Sun. The number of Earth days required for each orbit is as follows; Io = 1.769 days, Europa = 3.55118, Ganymede = 7.155 and Callisto = 16.689 days. We see an apparent octave orbital resonance between Io, Europa and Ganymede, all tuned to variations of A. Callisto tunes to F #, creating an interval of 1.1749 with Ganymede, exhibiting a minor 3rd fractonal ratio : derived by dividing Fibonacci # 610 by Lucas # 521 (actual ratio = 1.1708).
Also found as a main belt asteroid, Callisto is a nymph of Greek mythology who vowed a life of virginity, working the healing arts with Artemis. After being seduced by Zeus she was expelled. Hera transformed her into a bear, where she now resides in the stars as the constellation Ursa Major.
Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system, the only one which exhibits a substantial magnetic field. It is more massive than Mercury and Pluto, just slightly smaller than Mars. Ganymede was an exceedingly beautiful man who drew the attention of Zeus. Zeus pursued him to fulfill s*xual desires. Ganymede is the only lover to whom Zeus offered eternal life, with some speculation to why. Some myths speak of Zeus actually ra**ng the young lad into submission. Could this be a force of gravity?
Europa may contain an ocean of liquid water, considered a hotspot in the solar system in our search for extraterrestrial life. Another one of Zeus’s affairs, the Phoenician Europa bore three sons, Minos, Rhadamanthus and Sarpedon (the first two becoming judges of the underworld). Zeus seduced Europa after transforming himself into a tame white bull hidden among her father’s herds.
Io’s orbital resonance with Europa and Ganymede drives geologic activity on all three moons, with activity including volcanism and tectonic activity that melts rock into magna. Lava on Io can reach over 1,000 degree Celsius. This beautiful mortal is identified with Isis in Egypt and the Syrian goddess Astarte. Daughter of Inachus and the Oceanid nymph Melia, Zeus coveted Io and turned her into a heifer to hide her from Hera’s wrath (in some translations Hera transformed her). Io’s legend sometimes represents gender dysphoria, the distress of being assigned the wrong s*x at birth.
Among the Galilean moons of Jupiter we find a recurring theme of Zeus’s love affairs. One commonality we encounter is physical beauty so vibrant it attracts Zeus’s attention, imbibing his lust and desire. This trait exhibited by Zeus (Jupiter), reflects a human tendency to pursue base s*xual impulses and carnality to arouse sensation. When unmanaged, this behavior situates us in shallow dynamics with others, relations based on infatuation rather than integrity. We can see this in the darker aspects of Jupiter’s astrological meaning. Hera was jealous and angry with Zeus, mainly because he refused equal respect in partnership. As a husband he was misleading, manipulating his appearance and the forms of his lovers, hiding his exploits from his wife.
These frequencies may improve self esteem, strengthen inner glow and beauty, expanding our sense for feeling good about our appearance. Wearing clothes that make us feel confident, apparel and fashion to accent our natural charm, adornment brings out an appreciation of cultural belonging and physical allure. Behaving naturally, our expression sparks genuine interest from other people. The healthy expression of pride, presenting our attractive qualities serves to inspire others while encouraging we take better care of ourself. Positive competition, not to express over inflated projections of our magnificence, but to stimulate community vitality. These human qualities can be emulated free of self centered, narcissistic behavior. We each long to feel beautiful. Remember, the most expressive elegance flows naturally as a result of loving ourselves. The challenge for many is to remain in humility. Unregulated self aggrandizement serves only the ego. Blind nationalism can suffocate the divine breath of spirit. Choose to live in this world, yet not of this world.

KEYS : Shape shift. Eternal life. Judges of underworld. Allure & s*xual attraction. Natural beauty. Shadows of narcissism, deception and manipulation. Healthy competition to temper base impulses.

JUPITER
“There is nothing in the cosmos but vibration, and all forms of vibration may be modified and managed by mental control.” Paul Foster Case
JUPITER 183.58 HZ ~ F # -13.31 cent ~ DEEP RED (IR)
86.05 BPM ~ 348.62 ms ½ ~ A 436.63 HZ Concert
With a mass some 2.5 times that of all other planets combined, Jupiter is a gas giant planet with clouds of hydrogen, helium, ammonia crystals, ice crystals, water v***r and other elements which create shades of white, orange, red and brown. Some of these clouds have water conditions that would allow Earth-like life to exist. Boasting some 95 moons, Jupiter was the Roman god of sky and thunder, closely connected to Zeus. In astrology, attributes include adventurous activity, expansion and wider horizons, growth and development, health and healing, miraculous developments, prosperity and good fortune. Jupiter governs wealth, higher education, legal work and religion (considered the father of Jesus Christ). Associated with the Eagle, this is the perspective that sees the whole picture from above, as we seek to learn about the world. This force brings optimism and generosity as well as providing a sense of adventure.
Jupiter rules the tarot card The Wheel of Fortune, associated with alchemical metal tin and Hebrew glyph Kaph (Kaf). This reminds us of cause and consequence, enabling us to be certain of reaping what we have sown. The pair of opposites are wealth and poverty, the extremes of property which represent our grasp of the circumstances. With reference to circular motion, Kaph translates as “a curve”, strengthening intention as a result of awareness of cycles. By emptying our minds of thought and focusing on our heart, we gain momentary glimpses into higher consciousness. These glimpses cannot be remembered or recalled to yourself or others, so the discipline of meditation requires consistency, so the awe of life can be continually witnessed. Although reality may appear to unfold due to chance, reality actually works upon unalterable law. The wheel is the symbol of cosmic expression unfolding in a whole cycle, with the center pivot representing the archetypal world, inner circle the creative world, middle circle the formative world, and the outer circle the material world. The rotation is not accidental.
Saggitarius, the Archer, is a fiery sign ruled by Jupiter which signifies Temperance, activating the glyph Samekh (Samech). Adaptation was the original connotation of temperance, suggesting metallurgic “tempering”, annealing molecules to bring stable equilibrium. Story telling and myth are human values, sharing common struggles to offer guidance and support to one another in finding the most appropriate course of action. Samekh offers divine support and protection to those who choose to witness the potency of mundane and predictable patterns. Prompting us to access celestial realms rather than whither in fearful worries, evolving with the currents around us and being nimble in completing our daily goals, we are offered a choice to attain lofty dreams through consistent labors. Wrath is a quality associated with this letter, the original Hebrew noun RAIH meaning “quivering” or “vibration”. Samekh means “tent peg” and “prop”, making a tent secure, as in providing a foundation. Temperance contains the symbol of the seven pointed star, also known as the elven star, a design which corresponds to 7 sacred planets, 7 alchemical metals and 7 chakras. Emphasizing purity and wisdom, the adept must experiment by trial and error because “the only failure is failure to try”. Eventually your experiments will come into equalization, “in the co-ordination of vibratory activities”.
Working with Jupiter tone 183.58 Hz characterizes continuous construction, generosity, material creativity, magnanimity and generosity. Kindness, charity and benevolence surround this frequency with good-humored and joyful optimism. This tone possesses all sorts of healing benefits. Bearing the lighting bolt of will, we can forge any path we choose. Jupiter vitalizes our cells to keep doing what they do best, initiating changes in our mindset through patient reminders to maintain consistency in our routines. Being generous with others, we live in abundance, both in good will and finances. To bring more to your table, concentrate on Jupiter. Follow through on small goals each day, thoroughly persevere, and you will be able to master what Steven Kotler calls “the art of impossible”.

KEYS : Wide horizons. Optimism. Repeating cycles. Vibration. Good humor. Generous wealth and abundance. The process of trial and error. Coming into equilibrium. Kindness. Neural annealing.

ULTRA INFERENCE
“Inductive inference is the only process known to us by which essentially new knowledge comes into the world.” R. A. Fisher
ULTRA INFERENCE 180 HZ ~ F # -47.41 cent ~ DEEP RED VIOLET
84.38 BPM ~ 355.56 ms ½ ~ A 428.11 HZ Concert
Not a traditional Planetary Frequency, Ultra Inference represents the frequency position where red-violet light ends at the top of the visible spectrum and deep red recedes out the bottom. This tone forms a cusp, a magnetic breaking point which connects the astral with the terrestrial energies residing within the biofield of each human. 180 Hz falls in the range of F # (A440), close to the vicinity of F. Resonating both Red Violet and Deep Red, we are reminded of the rich Mauve color which is seen in some layered earth deposits of the Morrison Formation (150 million year old shallow sea beds) found throughout the Painted Desert of the south-west US. This vibration stimulates both super consciousness and our base aspects residing within our core subconscious patterns. These both reside along the auric membrane at the top and bottom of our electromagnetic manifold.
This frequency was inferred in part by studying Clint Goss’s Pitch-to-Color Calculator v 1.02. The link is here : https://www.flutopedia.com/sound_color.htm - In this model, Clint makes an obvious octave division at 400 THz to 800 THz, where the color chart shifts from low to high, red to violet. Another reference source can be found at the website icosmo.de, using the Cosmic Octave Calculator. This site shifts the visible cusp of light to 380 THz and 760 Thz, which is considered relatively accurate. I used these both to determine an ultraviolet/infrared dissolve point of human vision. Anything faster reaches ultra violet spectrum and slower becomes infrared. With these sources pointing between 179.1 Hz and 181.9 Hz, the frequency selected for this system is 180 Hz. A whole number was chosen in part because the circle is composed of 360 degrees. 180 degrees is one half of a turn around a circle, 1:2 represents the most fundamental musical ratio, the law of the octave. Additional searches as to whether past researchers have presented this tone as a Planetary Frequency identified no additional sound healers who have shared these conclusions. As a newly documented healing frequency, this vibration offers unique potential for experimental sound and color therapists.
In this system, F is presented belonging to the red- violet family, while F # belongs to deep red, but as we can see musically, this shifts around depending on where we place concert pitch. In order to compose music at the Ultra Inference frequency, we set concert pitch down to A 428.11 Hz and write music in the key of F #. The Healing Frequencies Reference Tables were designed for musicians and healers to able to play with light and sound in unique and unexplored manners. Do not be intimidated by breaking rules of musical composition, especially for sound baths and group tunings. Change requires that our old tools be adapted in this new era. Advancements in consciousness and social reform are always preceded by adaptations in creative tradition. Feel free to create sound any way you wish. When choosing to experiment with odd frequencies, consider later returning to the laws of consonance to draw people back toward harmony. Experimenting with complex modulation signal sets are good for inducing trance states and entraining brainwaves. Comfort can always be induced using simple fractions, such as Pythagorean ratios including 2:3, 3:4, 4:5 and 8:9. Experiment with how these intervals feel inside of you. How do different musical chords effect your moods?
180 Hz is appropriate for grounding through the feet while attuning above the crown. Creating an octave lower or higher (90 or 360 Hz) creates an ideal treatment for both the feet and head simultaneously. This experimental tone is comparable to Bohr’s Wall, pointing to the neutral domain within a lode stone or magnet where magnetic orientation of atoms on either side of the wall align in opposite directions. This magnetic boundary region contains significant free floating energy. Based on the principles of Bohr’s model of the atom this describes the magnetic moment arising from electron orbital paths, where the magnetic spins flip direction. For this reason the field contains anti-gravitic properties that can be resonated into the force of levitation. Employing the hermetic principle of as above so below, the magnetic core condenses energy into an epicenter of vibrational potential.

KEYS : Reasoning and logic. Half turn around. As above so below. Weightlessness. Infrared coupling with ultraviolet. Chords effect emotions. Cultural change through emerging expression.

SIRIUS DOUBLE STAR
“Nintu mixed clay with his flesh and blood. That same god and man were thoroughly mixed in the clay. For the rest of the time they would hear the drum. From the flesh of the god the spirit remained. It would make the living know its sign.” Atra Hasis
SIRIUS 174 HZ ~ F -6.1 cent ~ 81.56 BPM ~ RED VIOLET ~ SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS
Sirius double star, heralded as the Dog Star among many cultures, is considered by modern astronomers to be a binary star system. Exhibiting an apparent visual magnitude of 1.46, Sirius is the brightest star in our night sky. Current theories observe Sirius A B to rotate around one another approximately once each 50.052 years, named from a Greek derivative for “sparkling” or “scorching”.
For ancient Egyptian society, the heliacal rising of Sirius (Sopdet, Spdt & Sepedet) on June 21, signaled the annual flooding of the Nile River, which effectively inspired the beginning of each solar civil calendar year. These floods were considered to be sourced from the tears of Isis, who wept for Osiris after he was murdered by his brother Seth. Sah and Sopdet (conflated with Osiris and Isis) gave life to Venus, the hawk god Sopdu-Horus. Sopdet means “skilled woman”, derived from the Greek word Sothis alluding to a triangle or sharp one.
In 1995, Royal Astronomical Society released a study by P.A.L Chapman-Rietschi titled “The Colour of Sirius in Ancient Times”, which accounts for records kept by developing Chinese, Egyptian, Iranian, Greek and Roman cultures. “The historical record, in fact, presents some fascinating colours, including black, gold, green, blue, white and red”. Late Egyptian records mention Isis was born a dark red woman. Hopi ancestors attribute Sirius to the Blue Katchina, while it shows up as a blue star in Icelandic lore and a blue wolf in Chinese mythology. Assyrian reports say Sirius underwent a phase of appearing like red molten copper or “reddish-white like copper”. The Hephaistion of Thebes attribute the gold star color to Sothis, which fell on ‘I Thoth’ once every 1460 Julian years. Hephaistion also registered green, color of malachite and a source of copper, associated with Sopdet-Sothis. Black is one of the colors of kyon (the dog star).
The Dogon tribe of Mali Africa also have a deep reverence for Sirius, including knowledge they claim dates back thousands of years. They acknowledge not only the existence of Sirius A B, but also a third star, Sirius C, which all share an orbit as a trinary star system. This has been considered by scientists, although no evidence has been raised to prove or deny this claim. The Dogon say that Sirius B, or Po Tolo, is “the smallest thing there is”, and “it is the heaviest star” composed of a mysterious, super-dense metal called sagala. The third star is called Emme Ya, which is lighter and larger than Po Tolo, hosting a habitable planet from which the mythical Nommos beings arrived to Earth. From tales of these amphibious gods, the Nommos arrived in a vessel along with thunder and fire, and once they landed, they created a reservoir of water and dove in. Oral tradition, tablets and drawings describe these beings as more fishlike than human, much like a mermaid or merman who need to live in water to survive, apparently indigenous to the sea. They brought knowledge and provided spiritual guidance to the Dogon, ringing of other origin myths from around the planet.
Due to being so bright and exhibiting an obvious color flashing effect, this star remains among the most admired throughout human history. The mysteries of Sirius invoke questions of ancient aliens, legends of benevolent nature, such as Hindu deities known as the Nagas. Sanskrit texts describe Nagas as a semi-divine species that can assume the form of a human with a halo of cobra hoods behind their head, a human serpent, or winged serpent. Nahusha was a naga king who ruled parts of north-central India in the 3rd & 4th centuries. Vasuki, another king of the Nagas, had a gem on his head called the Nagamani. These beings, associated with water, fertility and cosmic balance, came to earth ages ago and are thought to have migrated from Sirius seeking a peaceful planet to co-inhabit.
Use this tone to elevate awareness to a state of personal empowerment, tuning like a multi-faceted jewel of sparkling light. Remain aware of the challenges the human race is facing. Always do your best and ask questions rather than making assumptions. Work with Sirius 174 Hz stay ahead of the curve. This frequency is also a Solfeggio tone, used for relieving pain, soothing tension and eliminating stress. Glittering with many colors, Sirius empowers your diversity to shine.

KEYS : Scorching light. Superconsciousness. Origin myths. Triangle or sharp one. Sagala metal : density beyond comprehension. Nommos and Nagas. “Skilled woman”. Stress elimination. Water.

CHIRON

“And while the old man fingered the shafts clotted with poison, one of the arrows fell out of the quiver and stuck in his left foot. Chiron groaned and drew the steel from his body.” ‘Fasti’ Ovid

CHIRON 172.86 HZ ~ F -17.48 cent ~ 81.03 BPM ~ RED VIOLET ~ SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS

As a celestial body, Chiron was discovered in 1977 by Charles Kowal, although precovery images going back to 1895 allowed for its orbit to be accurately determined. With a perihelion just inside Saturn’s orbit and aphelion just outside Uranus’s orbit, the object was given the official designation of both a comet and a minor planet, sometimes referred to as a protocomet. Centaurs are mostly considered minor planets, with cometary comas being displayed by both Chiron and Echeclus. These half-horse / half-human beings from Greek mythology have been selected to classify smaller solar system bodies orbiting between the outer planets.

In mythology, Chiron (also Cheiron or Kheiron) was the son of Cronus and the nymph Philyra, who served as a mentor and instructor to many Greek heroes. Soon after giving birth, Philyra abandoned Chiron due to her disgust with the abnormal child, who was then found and adopted by Apollo. Represented as the wisest and most just of all centaurs, Chiron was both a healer and teacher. Living at the foot of Mount Pelion in Thessaly, he exhibited behaviors most different from other centaur counterparts whom displayed violent and savage mannerisms. In ancient art, Chiron’s physical appearance often differs from other centaurs, with his front legs being human unlike other centaurs with four horse legs. He is commonly depicted wearing clothes, demonstrating that he is more civilized. Sources suggest his personal skills matched those of his foster father Apollo, who taught the young centaur the arts of music, gymnastics, herbs, medicine and prophecy. Artemis, Apollo’s twin sister, is also attributed to have trained Chiron in archery and hunting. This education allowed Chiron to rise above his beastly nature. Credited to the discovery of pharmacy and botany, this entity is considered a forefather to the science of herbs and medicine.

The wounded healer is a somewhat universal concept that describes a caregiver or leader with personal suffering and traumatic experiences which inspire them to heal and guide others. By distilling compassion and empathy from the pains of life, these individuals learn to frame their professional vulnerability as a source of strength. Carl Jung believed a therapist must be “wounded” or vulnerable to deeply engage with and help to heal a patient. His quote, “It is his own hurt that gives a measure of his power to heal”, reflects not only Jung’s philosophy of the need for a therapist to understand the debilitating effects caused by trauma, but also a willingness to be resilient and a good listener when holding space for those working through painful life experiences.

Chiron’s death (in one translation), resulted when examining Hercules poison dipped arrows, which beheld Lernaean hydra venom. Accidentally dropping an arrow on his left foot, Chiron tried using herbs to heal himself, but was unsuccessful. Although immortal, Chiron willingly relinquished his life due to the incurable wound. This act of self sacrifice allowed his half brother Zeus to release Prometheus from his punishment for giving fire to humankind. With his student Achilles watching over, Chiron passed away after 9 days, when Zeus transformed him into the constellation Centaurus.

The tone 172.86 Hz resonates in the red violet spectrum of light, reaching up to the peak of the visible light spectrum which extends beyond into ultraviolet. Commonly representing the wounded healer, this frequency activates our deepest unconscious pains, subtly activating trauma we received between birth and 18 months of age. Known as “the bridge between the spiritual and material realms”, Chiron 172.86 is helpful for moving through hypersensitivity issues and overcoming habitual tendencies to avoid confrontation. This is a good tonic for increasing self confidence and determination, granted we are prepared to recalibrate illuminated imbalances with appropriate action. Listen for inner guidance and be willing to address insights obtained while working with this vibration. When encountering doubt or fear, ask yourself “what is right action?” in order to gain clarity.

KEYS : Mindfulness training. Growing beyond impulsive behavior. The “wounded healer”. Increase self confidence. Soothing hypersensitivity. Mastery of herbs and plant medicine. Prophecy.

PLATONIC EARTH YEAR
“…the approach of the next Platonic month, namely Aquarius, will constellate the problem of the union of opposites. It will then no longer be possible to write off evil as the mere privation of good; its real existence will have to be recognized. This problem can be solved… only by the individual human being, via his experience of the living spirit, whose fire… was handed onward into the future….” Jung 1959
Platonic Earth Year 172.06 HZ ~ F -25.51 cent ~ 80.65 BPM ~ RED VIOLET ~ CROWN
New Platonic Year 173.05 HZ ~ F -15.58 ct ~ 81.12 BPM ~ RED VIOLET ~ CROWN
Platonic Earth year, sometimes referred as the Great Year, is considered in Planetary Frequencies as the tone of the spirit. Named after Plato (427-347 BC), this cycle culminates the amount of time the vernal equinox moves through the entire zodiac, lasting nearly 26,000 years. At this junction in time, the vernal equinox is aligned to the cusp between Pisces and Aquarius, as we are entering the Aquarian Age, for a period Carl Jung titled a Platonic month. In one Great Year, the pole star (north star) will be centered again on our rotational axis. The tilt of earth’s axis behaves in a gyroscopic manner, spinning slowly across the background of the cosmos, witnessing the passing of ages.
In the range of F, 172.06 Hz is in resonance with red-violet light, vibrating just below 400 nanometers in wavelength. This frequency was highly regarded in ancient China. Hans Cousto comments on ancient China’s unique emphasis on spirit (above body and soul), stating “In no other country was the meaning of music so important for spiritual life as in ancient China”. He suggests this in part because they are the only ancient culture known to have set concert pitch for their ensembles in resonance with the Platonic Earth Year. Cousto also implores the cultural effects of root melodic notes used commonly by Western Civilization (Earth Day G), Indian Classical Traditions (Earth Year OM C #) and Ancient China (Platonic Year F). Cousto distinguishes the functions of the body (physical daily routines), the soul (yearly processes involving seasons), and spirit (25,920 years that involve many reincarnations and generations). Greek philosophers discussed the concept of the great year over 2 millennia ago. However, it was Isaac Newton who later determined the cause of the precession and established the rate to be 1 degree per 72 years.
In “The Cosmic Octave” Hans Cousto wrote that the Platonic Year lasts approximately 25,920 years, the same figure used by ancient civilizations. He then deduced the 47th octave as 172.06 Hz. Contemporary calculations are slightly shorter, showing the great year cycle to be actually closer to 25,772 years. This number has been refined over the past 45 years. Due to this advancement, we calculate the New Platonic Year figure to be 173.05 Hz, about 1 Hz above 172.06. Modern instruments are granting us more accurate time measurements, which are important calibrations.
25,772 years ago, the Earth was in the midst of an ice age, with massive sheets of ice covering the Northern Hemisphere. Wooly mammoths, giant sloths, saber-tooth cats and other megafauna roamed the landscape while humans began to form settlements and create cave paintings. More complex tools and weapons made of stone became commonplace. The hidden empire of Atlantis, hidden within this shroud of time, influenced the development of civilizations in South America, Meso America, South Asian Seas, Japan, China, Sumerian, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Nordic regions and elsewhere. Established global shipping networks allowed for the trade of metals, foods, fabrics and spices. Trade also provided the exchange of knowledge, secular and sacred traditions, music, art and cultural advancements. Frank Joseph is a good resource for gaining a deeper understanding of the Atlantean culture and trade routes they used during their empire. In books, Survivors of Atlantis and The Destruction of Atlantis, Joseph takes a deep dive into what scholars had learned at the turn of the millennium, exposing the advanced military and ambitious trade routes of the Atlanteans.
The Platonic Year tone is effective for guiding consciousness beyond physical and psychic concerns, into “spheres of spirit”. Effective as a medical anti-depressant, this vibration is widely used to invoke a state of cheerfulness and clarity. Activating the crown chakra, it reaches higher to stimulate super consciousness in the field immediately above the crown chakra. This is where kundalini energy crests within the Shiva eye of witnessing, spilling ‘amrita’ back down into the spinal column.

KEYS : Cosmic unity with creation. Source divine inspiration. Intuition. Reincarnation. Violet flame meditation. Anti-depressive. Spiritual clarity. Cheerfulness. Uplifting energy.

SYLVIA~ROMULUS~REMUS

“The story of Romulus and Remus being suckled by a wolf is not a meaningless fable. The founders of every State which has risen to eminence have drawn their nourishment and vigor from a similar wild source. It was because the children of the Empire were not suckled by the wolf that they were conquered and displaced by the children of the Northern forests who were.” Henry David Thoreau

Sylvia 167.53 HZ ~ E 28.3 cent ~ 78.53 BPM ~ VIOLET ~ CROWN

Romulus 212.57 HZ ~ G # 40.52 ct ~ 99.64 BPM ~ RED ORANGE ~ GUT INTUITION

Remus 141.43 HZ ~ C # 35.1 cent ~ 66.3 BPM ~ BLUE GREEN ~ HIGHER HEART

Located in the outer asteroid belt, Sylvia displays symphonic orbital resonance with her two satellites Romulus and Remus. Romulus is tuned in the range of a Major 3rd above Sylvia, while Sylvia is raised about a minor 3rd above Remus. Romulus and Remus sing a near perfect 5th together, with a natural interval of 1.503. Orbital resonances that create such consonant intervals are not uncommon, but this unique cluster of asteroids clearly displays how musical chord structures govern the cosmological laws of organization in the universe.

87 Sylvia has an orbital period of 2,369 days, and is the first asteroid known to possess more than one moon, discovered May 16, 1866. Part of the Cybele group, Sylvia is one of the largest asteroids, coming in at a tie for 7th place. Named after Rhea Sylvia, mythical mother of the twin founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus, she is also known as Ilia, the daughter of King Numitor of Alba Longa. King Numitor worshipped the war god Mars. However, his evil brother Amulius took the throne and imprisoned Sylvia as a Vestal Virgin. Mars secretly came to her one night, making her pregnant.

Romulus and Remus were abandoned at birth, cast out by fearful King Amulius. They were placed in a basket and sent adrift the Tibor River. A wolf found them and nursed them as babies from her cave (Lupercal). Eventually a shepherd (Faustulus) and his wife discovered the twins and raised them. Once grown, Romulus and Remus experienced a series of events that led them to build a city of their own. Due to a superfluous dispute over which hill to build the city upon, Remus insulted Romulus and was consequently murdered, either by Romulus or one if his supporters. Thus Rome was born, along with various corrupt institutions, government, military and religious traditions. This archetype of founding civilizations upon sibling disputes is etched in ancient history. Perhaps this myth is an appropriate symbol for the advent of Western expansion, considering that ever since the Roman Empire, colonialism has spread rampantly across the globe. Western expansionism currently threatens both traditional culture and ecological diversity, reviewing damage of post industrial waste. If we are to learn anything from this archetype, we ought to consider the symbols and morals.

Another myth involving a sibling dispute comes from an Aztec migration story where the Mother Coatlicue, while sweeping the temple, was made pregnant by a bundle of feathers she found on the floor. Her children, the Centzon Huitznahua (southern stars, 400 brothers) and her daughter Coyolxauqui (the moon), were said to become embarrassed by the pregnancy. According to the Catholic interpretation, they decided to kill their mother. However, when they arrived at the temple, Huitzilopochtli had already been born in full battle armor. He protected their mother, killing his sister and 400 brothers, smashing them to pieces at the base of the hill. One interpretation considers this story a decline from a matrofocal culture, during the rise of a patriarchal system which later dominated the agrarian Aztec empire. Another view looks at the epic battle fought by Huitzilopochtli, representing the sun light dawning to overcoming the darkness of night. This drowns out sister moon, and her bothers the stars. We can begin to cultivate a recurring theme of the socialized work day.

Invoking these tones in a chord creates a field for subconsciousness to process many daily paradoxes we encounter as civilization over-complicates our lives. Romulus Remus represent how the delicate ego may devise a symbolic murder to gain control at the cost of loosing family. How can we gain wisdom from bad human behaviors as we proceed to build a new world from the ashes of old?

KEYS : Balancing matrofocal culture with patriarchal society. Nurtured by nature. Laws of cosmic harmony behave unlike human law. Learning to build foundations on trust rather than malicious intent.
