Due to the events that happened this week, we would like to take a minute to say how sorry and proud we are to a recent department that we just taught our class at. We are sorry you had to use your training so soon but we are so proud with all the feedback back we are getting from those on scene.

Everyone on scene is in our thoughts and prayers. Please reach out to your department if you are having a hard time. Talk to your crew, your friends, coworkers, anyone you feel comfortable with but please talk to someone! This was horrific act of violence and it is ok to not be ok.

This is why we train.

Another great class with Mid-County EMS and Sandusky County EMS over the weekend. This group put in the work and it showed! Every time we picked up the intensity so did they!

These volunteer victims were fantastic and gave us all a show. Their acting was spot on and made the experience of the class very real.

Thank you Chief Mylander, it is always a pleasure working with you and your great group of first responders!

Stay safe!

This week we had a great class from multiple departments! We had people from Mid-County EMS, Sandusky County EMS, Harris-Elmore Fire Department, and Bowling Green Fire Division. This group worked excellent together and really pushed each other! Thank you for bringing great energy and enthusiasm!

Huge Thank You to Chief Mylander for your hospitality! See you guys in a few weeks for another great group!

Today is training day...
You may see a heavy presence of people, or hear loud noises, in the area of The Middle school. That is just us conducting the training that we have been asking for victims to participate for. There is no need for alarm, but please respect our training area and do not approach.

Northwest Ohio TECC has spent the past two days with Williams County Emergency Medical Service, Edon Police Department, Pioneer Police Dept., Bryan Ohio Police,Florence Township Fire Department, Bryan Fire, and Hicksville EMS.

This was their first class with us and they had such great enthusiasm and dedication! They had great questions and were very interested in learning! We want to thank Edon School District for allowing us to use the high school for this awesome training!

Special Thank You as always to our amazing “victims” (volunteers) who make this possible. We strive to make this experience as real as possible to prepare our participants for real world situations.

Have fun and stay safe everyone!

We would like to take a minute and discuss the events that happened over the weekend at the Old West End Festival in Toledo. First we would like to say how sorry we are for everyone involved. The victims, the bystanders, and all first responders, this one hits too close to home. We would like to say how great of a job Toledo Police Department and Toledo Fire & Rescue Department did. Tactical Medics were on scene along with other officers who did an outstanding job. Fire went right into the scene with no staging and zero hesitation. Given the circumstances the care and team work was excellent. Unfortunately this is why we train, this is why we teach so intensely and realistic every class. We want to prepare every participant in our classes for the real world scenarios.

We would also like to say that you DO NOT have to be a first responder to take our class. We have had people participate with zero medical and tactical experience. We also encourage everyone to find a local CPR class and a Stop the Bleeding course in your area. If you cannot find one available please reach out to us.

Stay safe.

What can you do if he’s “Choosin’ Texas?” Probably not much. But in a cardiac emergency, there IS somethin’ you can do. Know the two simple steps of Hands-Only CPR.

If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of this country smash from Ella Langley.
