✨ EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT ✨
Please join us in celebrating Samuel Blair, our Spiritual Care Manager at Bridges Hospice. 💛
Sam has dedicated more than 20 years to hospice care as a chaplain, bereavement counselor, educator, and spiritual care leader. Since joining Bridges Hospice in 2012, he has helped guide countless patients and families with compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support.
A graduate of Yale Divinity School and Geneva College, Sam first discovered hospice while volunteering during seminary — an experience that ultimately shaped his calling to care for others during life’s most meaningful moments.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, Spencer and Taylor, traveling to Newfoundland with family, and adding “just one more” podcast to his queue. He’s also a published author! His 2025 book, *Sacred Texts: Finding Faith Among the Dying*, reflects on the powerful stories and lessons he’s encountered throughout his hospice journey. It is available for purchase on Amazon!
We are also proud to celebrate Sam’s recent promotion and his 13 years of dedicated service to Bridges Hospice. His heart for people, commitment to spiritual care, and compassionate leadership continue to make a lasting impact on our team and the families we serve.
His life verse, Micah 6:8, beautifully reflects the way he lives and serves:
“To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly…”
Thank you, Sam, for all you do. 💛
