🦃💛 300 TURKEYS. 300 GIANT EAGLE GIFT CARDS. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY! 💛 🦃

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
Last Thanksgiving, with the help of some incredible people and businesses, our friends at Court Pest Control were able to give away 160 turkeys to families in our community.

The new goal for 2026 is to give away 300 turkeys, along with 300 Giant Eagle gift cards, to help local families enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

❤️ HOW YOU CAN HELP THEM & OTHERS:
We are currently accepting monetary donations to help purchase the turkeys and Giant Eagle gift cards.
To allow us enough time to organize and purchase everything, we are asking that all donations be received by October 20th.
💰 DONATION OPTIONS:

Meet Alesha McCullough 💛

With a heart for serving others, Alesha has spent much of her life working with the elderly and has always felt especially called to end-of-life care.

That calling led her to become a trained death doula and hospice volunteer, and she is now continuing her education in social work with hopes of staying connected to the field of death and dying.

For Alesha, being present during someone’s final chapter is more than a role. It’s an honor to walk alongside individuals and their families, offering compassion, comfort, and support during such a meaningful time.

We’re so grateful to have Alesha as part of the Bridges family. 💛

A Beautiful Celebration of Love, Memories, and a Life Well Lived. 🖤💛

Some memories are simply too special not to share.

Recently, family and friends gathered to celebrate the birthday of Marlene Valicenti in a truly heartfelt way. Her husband, Vince, brought everyone together to share stories, laughter, birthday cake, and even a little Bingo—one of Marlene’s favorite pastimes!

What made the celebration even more meaningful? Everyone brought their special memory bears, lovingly created from Marlene’s clothing through the BRIDGES Hospice volunteer program. Each bear served as a comforting reminder of someone so deeply loved.

We were honored that our Volunteer Coordinator, Susan Gehringer, was invited to be part of this beautiful tribute.

At BRIDGES Hospice, our care doesn't end when a loved one passes. The connections, compassion, and memories live on.
