When my son David died of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 30, I was left in the dark trying to find my way. The pain that I experienced was different from any other pain that I experienced before. People began to tell me what I should do or should not do. I realized that even though I lost my son physically I could keep him alive by writing about him. These articles describe my pain, my
