“Nothing Bundt Cakes” in Maple Grove donated a generous donation of mini-bundt cakes for “Bingo and Bundt Cakes” for our residents. Residents had lots of fun winning these little cakes for bingo prizes. “This was more fun than Christmas!”, stated one resident.

A huge thank you to the Maple Grove Nothing Bundt Cakes store, it was a great success!

Monday, July 20th, sisters Lucy and Avery along with their mom Brie and Elle and Tara delivered flowers to our ladies. Residents were delighted to receive a visit and flowers from the girls. Gratitude, smiles and tears of joy were brought to the residents!

Sunday, July 12th, St. Benedict's Monticello participated in the Monticello Riverfest Day Parade. Staff and volunteers helped throw candy to the crowds!

Ecumen St. Benedict's Community, Monticello celebrated with Deb Bakken, Senior Living Consultant, at her Retirement Party on Thursday, July 9th. Deb has worked for the Ecumen St. Benedict Communities for 35 years with a total of 45 years in working with Senior services.
We congratulate Deb and thank her for her many years of honoring and serving our residents! 💚

Village tenants, Independent Living, have been enjoying a free art workshop sponsored by Rum River Art Center of Anoka. The class is “Exploring Watercolor Pencils” with instructor Tom.
Classes are offered through the North Central Grant, which supports senior art outreach for older adults.
