Summer is officially off to an amazing start at East-Moore!

We had such a wonderful evening kicking off summer with our Family Game Night! Our children and families came together after hours to enjoy laughter, fun activities, games, and quality time with one another. Nights like these remind us how special our East-Moore family truly is and how important it is to build connections both inside and outside the classroom.

Our students enjoyed making a special thank you card for our local firefighters, spending time coloring and building with blocks together, and getting their hands dirty planting flowers and working in our garden.

The smiles, teamwork, and creativity made the day extra special!

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to the wonderful grandparents who took the time to make smocks for our painting and artwork activities. Your kindness helps keep our babies clean while they learn, explore, and create every day. We appreciate your love and support more than words can say! 💕

Our students had such a wonderful time planting flowers yesterday! There’s something so special about getting little hands in the dirt, learning how things grow, and watching their excitement as they care for their plants.

The rest of our week is going to be filled with lots of gardening fun, hands-on learning, block play, teamwork, and creativity together! We love giving our children opportunities to explore, learn, and make memories while having fun with their friends.

We can’t wait for all the fun and learning still ahead this week!

Today our students had such an amazing experience visiting with some of our local firefighters!
We are so thankful for the time they took out of their day to welcome our children, teach them about safety, and make learning so much fun.
The smiles on our students faces said it all! Thank you as well for the stickers and coloring books that were sent home with our students.
Your kindness, generosity, and dedication to our community means so much to us.
We appreciate all that you do each and every day to keep our community safe. Thank you for being true heroes to our children and families! 🚒

This week is extra special as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation and a very special milestone our amazing infant teacher’s one-year anniversary with us! She is also celebrating her Birthday so if you see her be sure to wish her the best.

Over the past year, Harley has shown incredible dedication, patience, and love for our littlest learners. Caring for infants takes a special kind of heart, and she pours so much warmth and attention into each child every single day. From comforting cuddles to celebrating those first little milestones, she creates a safe and nurturing environment where our babies can thrive.

Piper consistently goes above and beyond, always stepping in wherever she’s needed and doing whatever is asked with a positive attitude.
