🚨 PRIME DAY = PERFECT TIME TO GIVE BACK 🚨

Help us build Sensory Kits for First Responders! 💙

First responders often encounter children and adults with autism, sensory sensitivities, communication challenges, or heightened anxiety during emergencies. These sensory kits provide simple tools that can help promote regulation, reduce stress, and support positive interactions during high-pressure situations.

With Prime Day sales happening now, it's the perfect opportunity to pick up a few items at a discounted price and make a meaningful impact in our community.

See our linked Amazon Wishlist for requested items.

Every donated item helps us create kits that can be distributed to local first responders throughout Eastern North Carolina.

Whether you purchase one item or several, your support helps equip those who serve our community with tools to better support individuals with sensory and communication needs.

Our next RBT highlight is Bethany Kellner! Bethany celebrated her one-year anniversary with the company in April, and we are so grateful to have her on our team. She brings so much fun, creativity, and color to the company, whether through her vibrant hair colors or the engaging activities she shares with her clients. Bethany plays an important role in our School Readiness Program, working alongside our teacher, Caroline, to assist with lesson planning, lead circle time, and facilitate activities. When asked about her favorite way to pair with clients, Bethany shared that she enjoys “playing hide and seek or swinging while doing funny faces as well as lots of exaggerated movements and voices, à la Jim Carry!” Bethany is truly an invaluable part of our team, and we appreciate all of her hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication. We are so lucky to have her!

Our next staff highlight is Chelsey Tennant! Chelsey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who specializes in early intervention, with expertise in joint attention, communication across modalities, trauma-informed care, and sleep. She has been a valued member of ENC ABA for the past three years and has contributed to the company’s growth in countless ways. In addition to carrying out her BCBA responsibilities, Chelsey plays a key role in developing our team by helping train new RBTs and leading weekly/monthly staff trainings. Her dedication to both client care and staff development has made a lasting impact on our organization. When asked what advice she would give to newer RBTs, “Everyone in the field is learning, not ONE singular person is an absolute expert and no longer has room for growth. With this in mind, be patient and kind to yourself as skillsets increase with practice and learning through feedback (especially behavior skills training (BST) as you, too, are a learner in the field”. Thank you, Chelsey, for your leadership, expertise, and commitment to supporting both our clients and our team!

Our next RBT spotlight is… Rachael Lyon! She has been with the company for six months and has been such a light to our team. She was inspired to become an RBT after seeing the impact ABA has on children with disabilities. She loves pairing with clients through fun activities such as slime, dancing, and gross motor activities. She is an exceptional RBT who brings both energy and professionalism to her work, consistently creating a positive and engaging environment for clients at ENC ABA!
