The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is creating new opportunities for states, health systems, behavioral health providers, and community organizations to improve care in rural communities across the country.

But lasting transformation won't come from funding alone. It will come from strong partnerships, innovative solutions, and a commitment to meeting people where they are.

For rural communities, healthcare transformation isn't just about funding. It's about creating lasting access to care and better outcomes for the people who need it most.

That's why Moodr Health is proud to partner with The Muse Group to help states and providers navigate the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).

With CMS investing $50 billion into rural healthcare, organizations have a unique opportunity to modernize care delivery, strengthen workforce capacity, and expand access through innovative, technology-enabled solutions.

Together, we're helping organizations bridge the gap between policy and implementation so funding can become meaningful, measurable impact.

Perfection can be the enemy of progress.

In this clip from the latest Early Innovators Podcast, Dr. Angela Skrzynski shares an important lesson from digital health implementation:

πŸ’‘ Many healthcare organizations feel a solution must be nearly perfect before it's launched.

The challenge?

πŸ‘‰ Patients wait longer to access support.
πŸ‘‰ Organizations miss valuable feedback.
πŸ‘‰ Innovation slows down.

Sometimes the best way to improve a solution is to get it into the hands of the people it was designed to help and learn from their experiences.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we're reminded why Moodr Health exists: to help ensure people have access to timely, compassionate behavioral health support when they need it most.

While May shines a spotlight on mental health, the need for awareness, support, and access continues year-round. Every day, we work alongside healthcare organizations, care teams, and communities to help identify needs earlier, strengthen connections to care, and support better outcomes.

Mental health matters every month, and we're grateful to be part of the work to make care more accessible for all. πŸ’š

πŸ‘‰ It’s about reaching people in ways that feel familiar and trusted

She highlights the importance of:

βœ” Community health workers who understand local needs
βœ” Meeting people where they are
βœ” Building stronger connections to care
βœ” Expanding healthcare beyond traditional settings

The Moodr Health team had a busy (and meaningful) week!

Last week, Jim Murray was in Richmond, VA for the Research to Recovery Conference hosted by the Rams in Recovery- VCU program. This event was centered around whole-person wellness, recovery, and evidence-based care.

At the same time, Michelle Hopkins was in Charleston, WV at the Vandalia Health Network Conference: Transforming Care Together, connecting with partners and leaders dedicated to improving care across our communities.

Two different events, one shared mission: making behavioral health support more accessible, proactive, and connected. πŸ’š

We’re grateful to be part of these important conversations!
