Are you tolerating misery?
I was. My example is pretty small and shallow compared to some examples, but here goes it.
I was using an iPhone 6+ to get all my work done. My good phone fell in water so I started using this crappy phone that took crappy pictures and operated at the speed of a sloth (yes these pictures were taken with that phone, oi 😄).
I didn’t want to buy a new phone because it just felt like extra, “I can still do what I need with this one.”
I used it for a few months and I FORGOT how old a phone it was and that I’d bought it for $100 on eBay.
It took me a little too long to realise that I had a layer of stress and anxiety from just using this ancient phone! And once I changed that, the stress went away.
My point here is that we all tolerate a level of misery, sometimes for so long we forgot the cause or that it’s even there, but it affects us.
Examples could be energy sapping relationships, eating foods you know make you feel bad later, not working out and still wondering why you feel depressed, tolerating a lifestyle that just isn’t benefiting you, just being stressed out and anxious without finding a way to balance out.
My favourite is when people keep spinning on the narrative or the story but just can’t seem to let it go, even though it happened YEARS ago. (If that’s you hit me up and ill give you some ideas to help that ❤️).
So my question to you today is to check yourself and your life and take note of the things taking your happiness.
1. Make a list of all the negative things.
2. Take the things that steal an unbalanced amount of time and energy from you and delegate, eliminate or change in what ever way is necessary.
Life is too short to live miserably, so do what you have to do!
Peace and love y’all.
Drop a ❤️ if you appreciated this post, thanks!
