Members of Burlington Township FOP Lodge #84 presented Burlington County CIT with a $5,000 donation, proceeds from the Cardio for Cosmo 5K, to keep our 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team program running strong. Meals. T-shirts. Gear. The essentials that show every participant they are valued and supported.

Out of the loss of Detective Steve Cosmo, something powerful keeps growing. More funding. More training. More first responders ready to make a difference when it matters most.

Vitality Sight was proud to sponsor the Arc of New Jersey’s First Annual IDD & Justice Innovation Summit held at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick!

This powerful event brought together leaders from across justice, disability services, behavioral health, education, law enforcement, government, and community-based organizations to build more coordinated and effective responses for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who intersect with the justice system.

Our Chief Learning Officer, Jarrod Broadway, was honored to be among the attendees — connecting with changemakers, learning from innovators, and reinforcing our commitment to training that makes a real difference for the people on the front lines of these conversations.

A huge thank you to Burlington Township FOP Lodge #84 for their generous donation to support the Burlington County Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program.

Over the past two years, we’ve been proud to watch this partnership with Burlington County Department of Human Services continue to grow and strengthen. This donation will help provide meals, training materials, and supplies for upcoming CIT classes.

The mission is important. The generosity is appreciated. The work continues.

Day 1 of Burlington County CIT Training is complete.

32 law enforcement officers, mental health professionals, and EMS providers came together today to do better for the people they serve. Opening remarks from First Assistant Prosecutor Brenda Roman Maneri, a powerful session with Lt. Chris Ent on why this work matters, de-escalation training, perspectives from NAMI and individuals with lived experience, and a stigma-busting closing activity.

Your role: Portray distressed, agitated, or disruptive transit riders during realistic training scenarios. This is serious, professional work — not a performance, but a controlled training environment where your ability to stay in character and respond authentically makes a real difference in how professionals are trained.
