What is Moldavite, you ask?

Moldavite is a rare natural green glass that was created about 15 million years ago when a massive meteorite ☄️struck what is now southern Germany 🇩🇪. The impact was so powerful that it melted rock and soil, launching the molten material high into the atmosphere. As it cooled and fell back to Earth 🌏, it formed the beautiful green glass we know today as Moldavite 💚.

Most Moldavite is found in the countryside of the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, where these pieces landed after the impact.
