perspective is everything. I have a lot of artist friends and I love asking them to tell me what they see and that are able to show me their perspective in the moment which is a gift that I'm grateful for. if I wasn't open to seeing things differently I never would have learned such beautiful things I notice now that I asked.

Susan has naturally curly hair due to medication and stress her hair started thinning about 1 year ago. she has new growth about 6 months worth which leaves her with an imbalance. The longer lengths were dragging everything down so I started with undercutting after making my guideline of an inverted U on skin the nape of the neck. I did elevate the hair at a 90° angle lowering my angle as I went from the nape to the occipital bone. from there in it was zero elevation cut against the skin. then when I got into the interior I over directed my sections to keep the length but still have a layer. I just love her curls!!! 🩷🩷🩷

I am Obsessed with these products for curly, frizzy hair. I found a YouTuber who used the yellow Skala and I was amazed at the results. This is a leave in conditioner and also a styling aid. I see these patterns on each and every person who sits in my chair. We all have a cowlick or even 2 and it can be frustrating when styling your hair. —my client and I both have stubborn cowlicks in the same spot. I took a picture to show her why she has difficulty with one side but not the other

​Look at how that cowlick expands outward in a circle, which is why one side sweeps forward and the opposite side goes back. That's where the right haircut and technique come in: cut it too short with the scissors and it will stick straight up, but leave it too long and the split becomes way too noticeable.
