Nashville Public Library - Equal Access We are able to ship our materials (for free) throughout the state of Tennessee straight to your door. We have DVDs, CDs, books, games, puzzles, and flashcards.

Library Services for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing provides thousands of references related to deafness, hearing loss, American Sign Language, interpreting, tactile signing, cued speech, baby sign language and the list goes on and on. Interpreters can use our resources to prepare for certain topics, improve their skills, prepare for certification tests and earn CEUs through many of our resources. We

also have many resources for deaf educators from preschool age through post-secondary school. For people wanting to learn ASL, we have resources that will work for people of all ages- baby to senior citizens. We also have assistive listening devices and related equipment that people can check out for trips, special events or as a "try before you buy" situation. We are available to help with special projects, tutoring, literacy issues, etc. so stop on by if you need some help! Our website has our catalog, a Directory of Services which lists all the services provided for deaf people throughout the state, hundreds of helpful links related to education, signing, parent resources, etc., and we also have a Calendar of Events which lists every event we know about that is happening in the entire state of Tennessee related to the interpreting, deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing communities.
