Sorry we have been quiet! Your Mind Matters - The TBI Foundation has been hard at work this past year! Here's some things we have achieved:

1 - Donated Mental Health Wellness Care Packages to Nelsonville York High School for their Sophomore & Senior Classes (250 packages)

2 - Attended Athens High School Freshmen Orientation - handed out care packages to incoming freshmen & parents (60 - 80 packages)

4 - Had a booth/table at the Athens Stand Down event

5 - Hosted our first Mental Health First Aid Training in the Rocky Community Room

6 - Donated Mental Health Wellness Care Packages to Trimble High School for the entire school (300 packages)

7 - Donated Mental Health Wellness Care Packages to Athens High School for their Mental Health Wellness Week (185 packages)

8 - Had a booth/table at the Nelsonville York SOS Su***de Prevention event

We will continue to donate Mental Health Care Packages to schools in Southeast Ohio. We have added Alexander High School to our list for this coming school year & hoping to get more added to our list.

Together we can help make a positive impact in our community & normalize conversations surrounding mental health & su***de prevention.

We’re so EXCITED to announce that Thetbifoundation is donating 650 Mental Health Awareness Packages to Athens High School next week for their Teen Mental Wellness week.

A big THANK YOU to all these amazing individuals, committee members, sponsors & donors, & all of those who attend our fundraising activities because you are what makes this possible!

Our foundation is dedicated to helping bring awareness to mental health, su***de prevention and traumatic brain injuries. This year, we set a goal to donate 1000 mental health wellness packages to freshmen in high school across Athens County & Southeast, Ohio. These packages are designed to support students as they transition into a new chapter of life—one that can often feel overwhelming. We want to remind them that feeling stressed is okay, and managing life’s changes in a positive way is both possible and essential.

The Mental Health Wellness Package is so much more than a simple gift. It’s a powerful reminder that Your Mind Matters. 💚💙💚
