As we wrap up June, we’d like to recognize our June Employee of the Month, Gary Carpenter! 👏

Although Gary has only been with Whaler’s Cove for a few months, he has quickly become an important part of our team. He is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed, takes pride in his work, and brings a positive attitude every day.

Whether responding to maintenance requests or helping during unexpected situations, Gary is someone our residents and staff can always count on.

Thank you, Gary, for all of your hard work and dedication. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

We celebrated Father’s Day a little early with an afternoon of music, good company, and friendly competition at our Duck Shoot Social.

Residents enjoyed root beer floats, light bites, entertainment by The Whalers, and a spirited game of duck shooting as we honored the fathers and father figures in our community. Our resident dads also received special gifts in recognition of the day.

Our Annual Resident & Staff Cookout was the perfect way to kick off summer! ☀️🍔🌭

There’s nothing better than spending time together outside the daily routine sharing good food, lots of laughs, and great company. Residents and staff enjoyed live music by Jeff Dunn, raffles featuring scratch tickets and themed gift baskets, and an afternoon full of fun.

Bingo, ice cream, and community connection at Taber Mill Apartments today🍦🎉

Whaler’s Cove was proud to host a Bingo & Ice Cream Social at Taber Mill in collaboration with Summit ElderCare PACE: the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.

We now offer the PACE program at Whaler’s Cove. It’s a subsidized, managed care option that opens the door for more individuals to qualify for supportive care in a home-like assisted living, all while still maintaining independence.

Guests enjoyed bingo, prizes, ice cream, and helpful information about the PACE program at Whaler’s Cove. Thank you to Taber Mill Apartments for having us, and to everyone who joined us for such a wonderful afternoon!
