📣 The wait is over. The Tinnitus Treatment Standard is officially here!

APSO had invited the community to review and provide feedback on the proposed tinnitus practice standard—and we’re excited to share that it is now officially published.

The Audiology Practice Standards Organization has released the finalized Standard S5.2 (2026): Treatment and Management of Patients with Tinnitus.

Tinnitus can be complex, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Having a clear, evidence-based standard helps us provide more consistent, informed, and patient-centered care.
