Who can guess all these questions right? It’s endometriosis awareness month so I thought I would do a little quiz with you all to see how much you actually know about this condition. Let me know how many you get right! It’s shocking to see some of these statistics and facts, and I really hope this video gets a lot of traffic as I really want to raise awareness about this significant condition. It’s not just painful periods, it’s debilitating pain that can affect nearly every day over a woman’s life. The mental, physical and social impact this condition is profound. Hopefully the more we raise awareness about this condition, The more women we can help. Please like and share!

ADHD is not fun, quirky or trendy to have. Stop making videos that have people think this condition is laughable. It’s serious, it’s debilitating and it can be unbearable.

This show is called “daily dose of sunshine” and it’s on Netflix. I can’t recommend this show enough, I think it has to be one of my favourite series ever! It’s about a psych nurse and the journey she goes through. The particular scene hit HARD. After being discharged from a psych ward this nurse was met with so much stigma by the patient’s guardians when she returned to work. They were so harsh and judgemental towards her. Stating that how can someone who is unwell themself treat patients. This show brilliantly highlighted stigma that comes with mental health. And most importantly, how ANYONE can struggle with mental health, including the clinicians who treat you. Everyone is human at the end of the day and having a mental health condition doesn’t make you less than. In fact, battling struggles and recovering only makes you stronger and better to treat patients as you can really understand what they’re going through. As someone who has also personally has battled through her own mental struggles and works in mental health too, I felt so much watching this show. However I know my past experiences have made me a better clinician. If you haven’t watched the show, I urge you to watch this, so eye opening and really addresses some difficult societal issues in regards to mental health stigma.
