Do you know what this means?!
I’ve completed my application to become a part of Louisiana’s first doula registry!

What does this mean for you?
It means I can provide services to you that would be mostly (or maybe completely) covered by your insurance!

I don’t know the fine details yet, but this has been in the works for a while now. The first cohort of doulas covered by insurance will be published in April 🎉

Producing breastmilk takes up about 30% of the body’s energy. Your brain, for comparison, only uses about 20%.
You’re not doing nothing.
This is why you’re so tired at the end of the day.
This is why you’re so hungry and so thirsty.
So, if all you did was feed your baby today, don’t let your mind convince you that you didn’t do enough. You did enough. You did amazing!

She has been there since we were pregnant with our first, and these glam shots she's doing now to focus on the mommy to be are just FABULOUS and a gorgeous way to document that baby belly. I’ve been slacking on my social media presence lately, but I have a good reason, promise! We are expecting our own little bundle of joy this August, and I’m not going to lie, it’s been tough keeping up with everything! Now that I’m into the second trimester, I’ve been feeling a bit better.

With that being said, I have limited availability remaining before I take time off to focus on our own growing family. I have some availability for the remainder of March and early April, as well as, mid May to early June. If you know of anyone with these EDDs possibly looking for doula support, please share my info with them! ❤️
