Relaxing this weekend, while giving a leg injury some much needed rest.

Watching “The Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot” and it reminds me exactly why I chose to turn life experience into knowledge and a 30+ year career in the Human Services/Mental Health field.

When purpose, passion, and real-life impact all collide… it just hits different. Sometimes being forced to slow down is exactly what you need to reconnect with your “why.”❤️

Protect your sacred space…….

I DON’T DO WEIRD ENERGY

Not the fake smiles with silent resentment behind them.
Not the backhanded compliments disguised as support.
Not the quiet competition from people who should simply be minding their own lane.

I don’t entertain strange vibes, unclear intentions, or people who move funny when the room shifts. If your spirit changes when something good happens for me, that tells me everything I need to know.

I value peace, sincerity, and people who can clap when others win without choking on it. The rest of that subtle shade, hidden agendas, and performative kindness can stay exactly where it belongs—far away from me.

Some people call it being distant.
I call it having standards for the energy I allow around my life. ✨
