The Super Summer fun is heading Uptown!

We are counting down the days until we gather at the Manning Family Children's (Worley Hall - 210 State Street) for a morning of interactive arts, music, and creativity for ages 0-8.

Thank you to all of the families who came out in their boots and raincoats to join our recent Family Day celebration!

We had the best time, and we are incredibly appreciative of everyone who was a part of it—from the families who attended to the many people who help make our event happen.

Special shoutout to Ms. Ashlie who kicked off the celebration with a full hour of music and fun!

Second Line Arts Collective followed with their Little Stompers class, which explored New Orleans culture through music. This was a new and exciting experience for our families!

Women's Health at Manning Family Children's joined us to provide support for new and expecting moms.

Ms. Katie helped families pot plants and seeds, and ran our bubble station as well.

Events like these remind us of how fortunate we are to be surrounded by a loving, supportive, and artistic community. ❤️

The Parenting Center and ThriveKids presents a new parenting class, "All Behavior is Communication" for parents of children ages 3-12.

Learn how to understand what your child is really trying to express through their behavior. Explore why tantrums, defiance, big emotions, and shutdowns often happen when children feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or don’t yet have the words or skills to communicate effectively. Leave with simple tools to build skills, respond with empathy, and set loving, consistent boundaries.
