Chefs for Justice and Eaten Path NOLA are bringing together some of New Orleans’ favorite restaurants for a month of special dishes, tasting menus, dinners, cocktails, events and more, with participating restaurants donating a portion of proceeds to the ACLU of Louisiana.

Because in New Orleans, food is more than food. It’s culture, community, history, and a way to show up for one another.

Throughout September, eat at participating restaurants, try something special, and support the cause.

You can find the list of participating restaurants on the chefsforjustice.com website.

Eat local and support the immigrant communities that make this city what it is today.

What all can $100 get on Oak Street in New Orleans?

I think I did really well and was able to spread it over many different local businesses. Highly recommend getting over there and supporting your favorite spots as well.

I'll be back for a part 2 at night.

How would you spend $100 on Oak St?

If you’re looking for a nice night out without dropping $100, add this one to the list.

Ralph’s on the Park is doing 3 appetizers + a glass of wine for $39, and yes, we obviously had to try it so we each got the deal to see what we liked best.

What we had:
Blue Crab Carbonara
Coffee Rubbed Pork Belly
Steak Tartare
Foie Gras Toast
Blue Crab Claws
Shrimp Skully

The deal honestly feels like a pretty solid excuse to get dressed up and have a nice dinner next to City Park in New Orleans.

Have you tried it deal yet?
