I remember when I just posted the most random thoughts and ideas for friends (or soon-to-be friends) on social media. At some point, that stopped because of either experiential anxieties caused by a population which seems to have developed rabies, a serious reduction in interaction from those who mattered most, and/or generalized cultural disgust flavored by whatever nasty little thing large swaths of you are loudly doing at the moment (pick your favorite). It’s affected my social life at large, as well - something I still find myself struggling with regarding those I can’t connect with easily in person. Oh, and now we’ve also got the AI overlords here to further saturate an already oversaturated market. I am here trying again, though, so you can look forward to my future musings on the matter if it even shows up on your feed at all. Seems to be a dice roll on most platforms whether or not you see the posts of the people you follow. I consider following/liking/whatevering a mostly dead function at this point, so we shall see… ☕🥀

I’ve done it. I’ve succumbed to the marketing gods and created a content calendar. We’ll see how long it sticks, but expect (for now) to see regular posts from me across social media.*

There is so much buzzing around up here that I don't share anymore because it's not a complete/polished thought and/or it's something I don't think anyone will care about. The latter stems from the issue of my always slipping under the radar, but the former is probably a big contribution to this issue (courtesy of the Algorithm Gods and our Big Tech Overlords). I suppose I'll just have to start sharing more, but it's annoying that neither of these things used to be a problem. What a stressful time we live in. I miss the old world.
