Hair loss in women is more common than many people realize. And while some women feel vain bringing it up, it can be incredibly stressful—especially when they don't know what's causing it.

I often see women who have had only basic labs run and were given a prescription for minoxidil, without ever being provided a real explanation. While treatments certainly have their place, hair loss is a symptom, which means there has to be a cause—or more often, multiple causes.

When evaluating hair loss, I often start by assessing some of the more common contributors, including thyroid function, hormones (including perimenopause), iron status, and genetics.

From there, if needed, we continue to peel back the layers and explore some of the less obvious factors that can impact healthy hair growth, including stress and cortisol patterns, nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances, inflammation, and gut health.

Regardless of how "severe" the concern may seem, hair loss deserves attention and evaluation. You deserve more than simply being told everything looks normal or that it's something you just have to live with.

Because hair loss isn't just about hair—it's your body communicating that something has changed, and it's worth listening to.

Is the estrogen patch shortage affecting you?
You're not alone.

While hormone therapy can be an incredibly helpful tool for many women, it's important to remember that it isn't the only way to support your hormones and feel better.

Nutrition, stress resilience, sleep, movement, blood sugar balance, targeted nutrients, and herbal medicine can all play an important role in supporting hormone health and improving symptoms.

If you're struggling to access your medication or wondering what else you can do to feel your best, know that there are many ways to support your body—and a personalized approach matters.

Hormone health is about much more than one prescription. Its whole body care 💖

My patient came in seeming defeated and frustrated.. stating she had a good life, but just felt... blah.

No major red flags or health conditions. No diagnosis that fit neatly into a tidy little box. But she had less joy in the things she used to love, low motivation, fatigue no matter how much she slept, and never quite felt her best after eating.

Just because you don't have a name for what's going on doesn't mean there isn't room from feeling better! Symptoms are messages, and there is often so much that can be done to help you feel like yourself again. 💚

Our little man turns 6 today. ❤️

We had a beautiful celebration yesterday, and after the kids headed off to school this morning, I went about my normal routine… until it hit me.

Today isn't just another day. It's the day I gave birth to my second child. The day our family grew, and the day this incredible little human came into our lives.

So much to reflect on and appreciate—who he is, who he is becoming, and how much motherhood has shaped me along the way.

Feeling incredibly grateful for the last six years and for the privilege of watching his story unfold.

Happy birthday, buddy. We love you so much. ❤️🎂✨

Tick-borne diseases don't always present with the "classic" symptoms.

In fact, many people spend years searching for answers because their symptoms seem unrelated or are dismissed altogether.

⚡ Strange tingling or buzzing sensations
🌙 Night sweats or air hunger
🧠 Sudden anxiety or mood changes
🦶 Pain that moves around the body
😵 Symptoms that come and go without explanation

And no, you don't have to remember a tick bite.

While these symptoms can have many causes, they can sometimes be clues that a tick-borne infection deserves a closer look.

And this is 40 ✨

I am filled with immense gratitude for so many things, but most of all, for the incredible people in my life. The ones who love me, support me, believe in me, act like kids with me, and make life richer than I ever imagined.

Lucky isn't the right word because it sounds like chance had something to do with it. Whatever the word is for recognizing the beauty of what you've built, nurtured, and been given along the way—that's what I'm feeling.

I'm grateful for growth. For my health. For continuing to form new connections. For al the times I followed my heart, even when the path wasn't clear.

At 40, I'm choosing presence over perfection, silliness over seriousness, integrity over approval, and pleasure over rushing through life.

Cheers ya’ll! ✨💖🙏

Let's stop normalizing putting ourselves and our health last. Let's stop believing that everyone else needs to get from point A to point B before we can spend time, energy, or resources on our own well-being.

And because it's the weekend and my filter has slowly dwindled, I'm just going to be blunt -

Women who feel good—women who feel heard, seen, validated, educated, and empowered in their own bodies—make the world stronger. A healthier, more supported woman shows up differently for her family, her work, her relationships, and herself.

So what does that have to do with testing? Everything.

Not because testing is the be all end all, but because it can provide direction. It can validate what you're experiencing, uncover missing pieces, and help create a path forward.

Testing isn't about finding something wrong with you. It's about finding a direction toward feeling better. ❤️

PS - This package is avaiable through the end of May - but more realistically through whenever I get back from camping and get around to taking it down 😘

There was a time I felt guilty for resting… in fact, the feeling of never having enough time was one of my biggest stressors.

Can you relate? Finally getting downtime, but still not being able to actually relax? Like if you slow down, everything will fall apart… or you’ll feel lazy and unproductive?

That constant guilt, pressure, or inability to rest is often a sign your nervous system has been running on overdrive for too long. Over time, it can start showing up as fatigue, irritability, hormone issues, brain fog, poor sleep, and even a loss of joy and pleasure in life… where you end up just going through the motions.

When I see these subtle patterns with my patients, it tells me so much about what is happening beneath the surface of their symptoms.

Sound familiar? There is so much opportunity for improvement if so 💖✨
