Sometimes you find someone who is broken, and you love them through their darkest days. You help them fight their way out of depression, pouring so much of yourself into them that they slowly find their way back to who they were. You hold them together when they can't hold themselves, and you become their strength when theirs has run out. But once they've healed and are back on their feet, no longer needing to be carried, you discover you're not needed in the same way anymore.

That's what hurts the most. You were good enough to be their safe place while they were falling apart, but when life finally broke you, when you lost people you loved and needed someone to hold you for a change, they couldn't give back what you had given them. You offered the love, patience, and support that carried them through their darkest chapter, only to face your own alone.

Sometimes you don't lose someone because you failed them. You lose them because you finished helping them become who they needed to be, and they no longer see a need for you in their life. You helped put them back together, but when it was your turn to fall apart, you learned that the person you saved was never able to save you. There is a unique kind of pain in realizing you were someone's lifeline, but they were never prepared to be yours.

What if blessings fall like raindrops, soft and unseen?

What if healing lives quietly inside every tear we shed?

What if a thousand sleepless nights are simply how we learn You're near?

What if life's hardest trials are only Your mercy, wearing a different face?"

This is life.
Many go searching for a reason,
but the reason never comes.
There is only the living,
and the gift of making each moment count.

Wealth and children are not the goal.
They may arrive, or they may not,
but they cannot be forced.
What is gripped too tightly turns to sorrow,
and what is chased against its nature never feels like home.

So let the days unfold as they will,
and pour yourself into the hour you are in.
That, in the end, is all the purpose there is,
and it is enough.

Have you ever had to release an old idea of how you thought your life 'should have turned out'?"

Honestly, I don't know what people call love these days, but if 'God is Love,' then that's always enough.

Feelings alone just don't cut it though โ€” let's be real.

Love is kind, patient, forgiving, enduring, and yeah, sometimes sacrificial.

Dopamine isn't love, it's just your brain rewarding you once a desire gets satisfied.

That's why the beginning of meeting someone feels so exciting โ€” once that need is met, dopamine kicks in.

Everything after that really just depends on whether your expectations get fulfilled or let down.

But real love sticks around even after the excitement fades.

It's that stubborn choice to stay, even when someone's flaws start showing.

And honestly, once you really learn to love someone, you start seeing how flawed they are โ€” and how flawed you are too. At the end of the day, choosing to put up with each other's mess is what actually keeps a relationship going."
