I worked with a client in her mid‑40s who’d been waking in panic most nights — heart racing, mind spinning, exhausted by morning. After a few hypnotherapy + coaching sessions using my certified approach and the RELEASE component, her nighttime panic dropped noticeably. She started sleeping longer, woke calmer, and trusted herself more. Hypnotherapy here is clinical, safe, and tailored for hormonal shifts. If you’re 40+ and tired of nighttime reactivity, let’s talk. Feeling that rush of anxiety or a hot-flash wave coming on? Try this 60-second nervous-system reset you can use anywhere. I’ve taught this as part of REWIRE — it’s simple, quick, and effective. 1) Inhale gently for 4 counts. 2) Exhale slowly for 6 counts, softening your shoulders. 3) Press your feet into the floor and notice the connection — a tiny grounding cue. Repeat once. Immediate calm. Do it daily for stronger resilience over time. Give it a try and tell me how you feel. Learn more: https://wix.to/oCWQP3H

Need a quick reset? Try our 5-minute Mindful Pause — simple, repeatable, and made for busy midlife women. 🌿

1 min — Breath reset: slow, deep breaths calm the nervous system and lower heart rate. Think of it as flipping the “slow down” switch.

2 mins — Grounding: notice feet, posture, sounds. Grounding brings you back to the present and reduces runaway thoughts.

2 mins — Gentle visualization: imagine a safe, soothing place. This eases muscle tension and reprograms stress responses for clearer choices and less late-night rumination.

Heather’s nervous-system approach for women in midlife informs each step — gentle, doable, and science-friendly. Repeat anytime for quick wins: calmer moments, clearer choices, better sleep. ✨

Try it now and tell us how you feel. Link: https://wix.to/sMrJtzg

I watched one client move from constant overwhelm to steady self-trust — and it was simple, steady work. She came in mid-perimenopause, riddled with anxiety and second-guessing every choice. We started by naming the limiting beliefs: “I’m fading,” “I can’t trust myself,” “I’ll mess this up.”

Through gentle hypnotherapy reframing inside THE MINDFUL PAUSE framework, we softened those stories. Daily nervous-system practices — 5-minute breathing resets, grounding rituals, and brief reflective journaling — gave her tools to use in real moments. Small repetitions changed the brain’s script.

Weeks later she reported clearer decisions, fewer reactive moments, and a calm confidence returning to her voice. She still feels emotions. She just meets them without being swept away.

As Heather (certified hypnotherapist and founder of THE MINDFUL PAUSE), I’ve seen this pattern again and again. The approach is replicable, compassionate, and focused on steady nervous-system regulation plus subconscious reframing.

If you’re a woman over 40, tired of second-guessing and ready to reclaim trust in yourself, let’s talk. Real shifts happen when you pair kind practices with targeted subconscious work. 💛

I used to wake sweating, heart racing, that feeling of being one step behind all day. Then I started treating perimenopause not as a crisis, but as a skill-building moment — RELEASE, REWIRE, RISE. Small shifts. Big returns. Tonight: a 10-minute sleep-supporting ritual — cool shower, chamomile, dim lights — to signal rest. Midday: a micro-boundary — two short “do not disturb” blocks to protect focus. Any time: a 60-second breath pause to reset when overwhelm spikes. These three habits cut my reactivity, sharpen my work output, and steady my emotions. You don’t have to overhaul your life. Try one shift for a week and watch how calm changes your day. I wished I knew these symptoms could be the signs of perimenopausal symptoms. I had many of these symptoms but because I didn’t have hot flashes, night sweats, weight gain or sleep quality decline, I was not aware of the biological shifts taken place.

What would I have done if I knew?
I’d have started bio identical HRT 10 years ago, also I’d have started targeted metabolic health care. Maybe I could spend more time and money on gut health than anti/aging treatments. And I’d definitely would have had a stress care practitioner to transform my lifestyle choices to reduce stress at all costs because stress would steal my youth, clarity, energy to create amazing life experiences, and stress would demolish my metabolic health and brain function, which is the root cause of all chronic diseases.

If you're reading this in your 30s, you're a blessed woman because you can reserve hormones for the next 10-15 years; and you're in your mid-40s, please read it for your body, which is under constant internal stress from hormonal fluctuations .

After going through a 14-year-long silent perimenopause, even you don’t feel it, due to decreasing estrogen, the body is constantly fighting against your internal, systemic stress, like staying on the treadmill 24/7.

Boosting hormones doesn't just mean "have more of" or "have more estrogen"; it's about helping our bodies rest, digest, and efficiently convert hormones better.

These 8 food sources are my best friends when it comes to balancing, signaling, and converting hormones.

1⃣ Extra Virgin Oil
Olive oil, rich in monounsaturated fats and polyphenols, helps lower inflammation and enhances insulin sensitivity. Compounds such as oleocanthal and hydroxytyrosol modulate inflammatory pathways, helping prevent chronic low-grade inflammation that can interfere with hormone signaling.

2⃣Wild-caught Fatty Fish
Fatty fish provide EPA and DHA that integrate into cell membranes and create anti-inflammatory eicosanoids. Studies show omega-3s enhance insulin sensitivity, decrease inflammatory cytokines, and may modulate cortisol stress responses.

3⃣Formented Vegetables
In my fridge, I always have fermented radish, kimchi, and beets. Fermented foods helps live microbes and microbial metabolites that influence the gut–brain–liver axis.

4⃣Free-range, pasture-raised organic eggs
Eggs contribute to maintaining hormonal health in several ways:
Supports Estrogen Metabolism: Vitamin B6 helps metabolize estrogen, which is vital for reproductive health.

5⃣Tumeric
Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, exerts anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. In animal and human pilot studies, curcumin has been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and reduce inflammatory cytokines that interfere with hormone signaling. Black pepper (piperine) increases curcumin’s bioavailability.

Hello 👋 I offer holistic, effective, long-lasting, and personalized nervous system therapy and anxiety & stress resilience coaching for women in transition ( )

Why?
Because I have gone through the transition almost blindfolded and for a way too long, alone. My perimenopause started shortly after I gave birth to my second child. I was still in early 30s.

I didn’t have any symptoms that doctors would recognize as perimenopause symptoms, plus my hormone levels were “normal,” on the surface level. But under beneath of all the “normal” conditions, I was exhausted, miserable and struggling to get through a day.

No women should go through perimenopause alone.
All women need to prioritize themselves (their bodies) first during Perimenopause and Menopause. Because perimenopause is a season in women’s lives that their identities, nervous system, hormones, energy bodies shift.

I created the Mindful Pause with the woman who I was back then in mind, knowing there are women out there who are seeking for answers, solutions, and support to go through their long journey of perimenopause and menopause understood, educated, and supported.

The Mindfulness Pause is a 12-week program to learn about your body’s needs, releasing anxiety/stress, resetting the nervous system stuck in the sympathetic nervous state (fight or flight mode), rebuilding resilience and self-confidence. You get 1:1 coaching, group sessions, and self-paced training & personalized remodeling your habits plans.

In 3 weeks, your body will feel more relaxed.
In 6 weeks, you’ll sleep better.
In 8 weeks, you’ll start feeling like yourself again.
In 10 weeks, the new healthy habits will become your new normal.
In 12 weeks, you’ll feel lighter, grounded, more confident, and continue building your resilience, confidence, intuition, clarity beyond the 12 weeks.
