Happy thanksgiving! Sending thanks to the moon and back for everyone and everything in my life today and everyday 🙏🏻🙏🏻

But, let’s not forget to also thank ourselves too for all that we do and remember how much we are appreciated! Swipe for some communicative intentions that express gratitude when you might not even realize it! 🦃

With pre-talkers and young kiddos- expressing thanks can manifest in the most surprising ways! Whether due to limited verbal language or the fact that they are in the crux of navigating their social-emotional world, sometimes showing appreciation may not be direct. If we step back to notice this, it could change the course of our day!

Valentine’s week was filled with soooo much love this week! Especially because we got to celebrate this smush who turned 1.5 🥰💌💝💕

👶🏻: Marni Moo Moo

🏆: 18 months old!

🧑‍🧒‍🧒: reliving first birthday vibes all over again! 🥹

🗣 milestones: this girl is doing SO much these days! In true stereotypical fashion, Marni loves to follow what her big sis is doing- including sitting on the potty and then clapping for herself 😅 she is imitating, following two-step directions, indicating her needs via pointing or verbalizing who she needs to help her, using strong facial expressions and intonations to express her feelings, and reaching a point where she seems to have so much she wants to say, but can’t quite with her limited word count of about 10 word approximations 🥹🥰 she is enjoying being social with friends and even the big kids at Juju’s school! she is working so hard on so many areas of development right now!
