Meet the Team: Kathy Power, BCBA! 🔦🌟

At Lighthouse ABA, we know that the heart of your child’s progress lies in the dedicated professionals who support them. This month, we are proud to spotlight Kathy, a lead BCBA who has been changing lives in the ABA field for over a decade!

Kathy is known for her clinical excellence, but it’s her heart for families that truly sets her apart. She recently shared that her favorite moments are when parents tell her that their training sessions make their “mental load feel significantly lighter.” 🤍

When she’s not reaching big milestones with her clients, you can find Kathy: 📚 Lost in a historical novel. 🧘 Finding her balance at Pilates. 🐕 Hanging out with her two “main characters,” Chev and Chelios!

Don’t let a snow day melt your routine! ☃️

A sudden change in the school schedule can be a trigger, but it’s also a great time to practice flexibility.

Save these 3 tips for your next flurry:
✅ The Dryer Trick: Warm up socks and mittens before putting them on to make the transition to ‘cold’ less jarring.
✅ Compression Layers: If they hate the feeling of snow pants, try a tight-fitting base layer underneath. ✅ Input Check: Remember that snow is loud (the crunch) and bright. Keep noise-canceling headphones or shades nearby!
