We tend to notice strength when it looks dramatic.
The comeback. The breakthrough. The big moment when someone gets knocked down and rises again.
But most resilience isn't nearly that exciting.
It's getting up on an ordinary Tuesday and trying again.
Making the meal. Taking the walk. Keeping the appointment. Setting the boundary. Resting when you need it. Making one better choice after yesterday didn't go quite as planned.
Again. And again. And again.
That's how self-trust gets built.
Not because you never struggle, but because you've collected enough evidence to know:
“I've been here before. I know how to keep going.”
Resilience isn't one heroic moment.
It's all those ordinary moments when you quietly refuse to give up on yourself.
