Helping Hands for the Disabled of NYC Infoline for August 2026:

August 1st- The Restaurant Club would like to invite you to go to Michael’s Restaurant, located at 33-17 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106 (Corner of 35th Street & Broadway) from 2pm-5pm. Check out the menu on their website at this link: Michael's Restaurant | Best Greek food near me in Astoria | Classic Diner Eats. We ask each member who attends to contribute $5.00 for the volunteers.

August 4th- Board Meeting via Conference call at 7:00pm. Please call (857) 216-6700 to attend with the Access code 797305.

August 8th- Trip to Nathan’s at Coney Island located at 1310 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224 (Between Stillwell Avenue & W15th Street) from 1:00pm-5:00pm. We ask each member who attends to contribute $5.00 for the volunteers.

August 15th- Be A Friend Day. We will be meeting at McDonalds, located at 809 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10001 (at the corner of 6th Avenue and 28th Street) from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. We ask each member who attends to contribute $5.00 for the volunteers.

August 22nd- BBQ at Alice's courtyard from 2:00pm-5:00pm. The fee is $15.00 and if you wish to bring anything you are welcome to do so. Please call Alice to confirm details at (718) 606-9712 or (347) 696-5316.

August 29th- Tupperware Fundraiser Party from 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Alice’s home. Please call Alice at (718) 606-9712 or (347) 696-5316 for details and to confirm your attendance.
