Many women address menopause symptoms, weight changes, sleep issues, and preventive health concerns at once, often across different specialists. MyPath Balance 40+ brings menopause care, weight management, and treatment of conditions such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure into one coordinated clinical plan, addressing how these systems influence each other. Midlife is also a window into your future healthspan - this pathway is designed to improve how you feel now while protecting your cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal health for the future.

Every woman’s health journey looks different, and it should be met with care that reflects that. At the Rowan Women’s Health Center, we’re reimagining what it means to feel supported: one integrated, compassionate space where obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology, mental health, and more work together—around you, not around a system.

What does really mean for women—and how does it change throughout our lives? In this episode of HERology, Drs. Joanne Stone, Anna Barbieri, and Anu Lala, are joined by clinical psychologist Jonathan DePierro, PhD, to explore how women navigate resilience through adolescence, pregnancy, parenthood, midlife, and beyond.

Resilience isn’t just about getting through hard times. It can also mean finding purpose, leaning on support, and growing through uncertainty.

This pear and arugula salad is the summer side we keep coming back to - peppery greens, juicy pear, and just enough crunch to keep every bite interesting. Low calorie, high flavor, and endlessly easy to customize (hello, goat cheese and candied walnuts) Whether it’s sitting next to your grilled protein of choice or holding its own as an afternoon snack, this one’s a warm-weather staple.

Not all cortisol is bad, but chronic stress activation is a different story.

Featured in Vogue, Dr. Anu Lala breaks down what’s actually happening when your morning cortisol feels like too much.

Her key insight: that morning cortisol rise is normal and necessary — it’s what gets you out of bed and ready for the day. The real concern is chronic sympathetic activation: hundreds of mornings, over months and years, where your nervous system never gets the chance to fully reset.

Her advice? You don’t need an elaborate routine to support your nervous system — a few slow breaths, a moment of gratitude, some morning light, or a quick stretch can go a long way. As she puts it: “Whatever works for you. There’s no one-size-fits-all.”

This episode of HERology takes a closer look at common misconceptions that continue to shape conversations about women’s health. Drs. Anu Lala, Joanne Stone, and Anna Barbieri separate fact from fiction on topics including fertility, perimenopause, exercise during pregnancy, hormone therapy, and the health advice that often circulates on social media.

The key takeaway: Rely on trusted medical guidance—not myths or online misinformation—when making decisions about your health.
