Inside Edition came to mom’s apartment to film a Mother’s Day segment about our viral reel on the plane to Barcelona.

The crew was there for over an hour, enraptured with mom and her incredible art-filled apartment. Annie, Walt & Sean were lovely as they filmed us together, asking questions about our trip, our relationship and how it felt to go viral.

Annie, the interviewer, said she wished they could use all the footage but the producer would probably cut it down to a few minutes.

My mom told everyone she knew that she was going to be on TV. We even had a little “watch party”. Our story came at the very end. Mom watched excitedly at first, but the segment ended quickly. 48 seconds to be exact. Mom’s face dropped.“That’s it??? We filmed ALL THAT for under a minute?”

Welcome to Hollywood, Mom! 🤣🤩

It was still worth it! 🥰Thanks to all for this wonderful, unexpected ending to an already priceless trip together with mom! ❤️❤️❤️

It had been years since it was just the three of us.
Mom and her girls.

Life was always busy. Many changes. Time passes.
What were we waiting for?
We certainly weren’t getting younger.

And then suddenly, there we were again—walking through Barcelona together, sharing meals, experiencing art, music, and laughter.
Moments that were new, yet familiar.

Some connections don’t need much. Just time.

Mom had dreamed of coming to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona for years. She called Picasso her “boyfriend.” We couldn’t let her life pass without seeing him!

Seeing his earliest works from his art school days in Barcelona gave depth and understanding to the artist she loved.

Witnessing her awe, excitement and joy… that was the moment that meant everything.
