I can’t even put into words what it feels like to walk into a bookstore and see Making Sobriety Stick on the shelf. 📚✨ Spent the week visiting local independent bookstores (NY + CT) signing copies, and having the most wonderful conversations.
This book was years in the making, and seeing it out in the world like this hits different. Huge thank you to every indie bookstore that’s carrying it. More to come, I can’t wait to share where we’re headed next! 💛

Thanks to the Family Center of Grosse Pointe MI, this is a program you won’t want to miss!
From Surviving to Thriving: practical strategies for recovery, resilience, and living your best life.

Thanks to my dear friend, Marilyn Bartley, on October 28th, I’ll be sharing the stage with two other unique authors. We’ll be sharing our personal insights, practical strategies, and meaningful perspectives on growth, healing resilience, and helping others along the way.

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your own journey, gain tools to support someone else or simply grow alongside others, this program offers insight and encouragement to help everyone move forward and thrive.

There will be a meet and greet with the authors, and book signing following the panel discussion. 📕💫

This week we celebrated the InService Foundation’s 5th Annual Art of Recovery event! ✨🌟✨It was an amazing evening with record breaking funds raised for those in need of recovery services, a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together around a shared commitment to helping others. As an Advisory Board member, it’s truly an honor to be a part of a community that provides meaningful support and connection for people and families.

My heartfelt thanks to co-founder and dear friend, Natasha Silver Bell, for purchasing and donating 100 copies of my debut book: Making Sobriety Stick, the first mainstream guide to recovery coaching, providing me with an amazing opportunity to sign and share my book with the world. ✨A special shoutout to the other co-founders, Philippe Grinstein, and Aaron Gershenson as well as Executive Director Carli Wargo, the Board, and everyone who volunteered. Your collective care, vision, and hard work made this a night to remember!! others RECOVER OUT LOUD•Mental Health + Substance use Advocate🖤

An amazing conversation with Jana Wu @ Mountainside. 💫 In this Sober Spill episode, we explore recovery coaching, sustainable sobriety, eating disorders, body image, shame, and what it means to build a life in recovery. Ultimately, lasting change involves looking at what we're recovering to not just what we're recovering from. makingsobrietystick

Front page news! 📰 Making Sobriety Stick is on the front page of this week’s Greenwich Sentinel and New Canaan Sentinel.
Coming back to Greenwich, where I first got sober as a single mom, to talk about this book with my dear friend, Icy Frantz, meant more than I can say.
If you remember one thing from the book, I hope it’s this: keep trying.
A setback isn’t the end of your story.
Thank you to Peter + Beth Barhydt and the Sentinel for this beautiful piece. Full article linked in bio. 💛

Well, today is a big one. 🎉
Making Sobriety Stick is officially out in the world - you can grab it everywhere books are sold! 📕💫🎯
This book took everything - heart, honesty, hard work, and I am so unbelievably grateful to finally get to share it with you. If it helps even one person feel less alone, and more hopeful… it was worth every second.
And the timing? It’s also my birthday. So today I’m celebrating two things I care about deeply: living my life on purpose, and getting to put something real into the world that I hope truly helps people.
Thank you for being here for this. Go get your copy, link in bio 📖✨

This past week, I had the opportunity to meet two amazing bestselling authors who I admire and respect so much! 🌟
Ann Dowsett Johnston, also a public speaker, and therapist, was the keynote speaker at the annual Lighthouse Women's Recovery luncheon. She has a heart of gold and her book, Drink, has helped tens of thousands of women over the years. 💫
Dr. Shefali first rocked my world when I read her book, The Conscious Parent. She came to New Canaan on her book tour for her two latest books, Raising Conscious Sons and Raising Conscious Daughters - both are must reads! As I step out into the world with my debut book, Making Sobriety Stick: A Recovery Coach's Guide to Sustainable Change, I feel so grateful for their inspiration. 🩷 Pub day is 9/22/26. You can still pre-order at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. links are in my bio. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible writing ✍️ journey!

Dimension 8 of wellness: creative & intellectual hobbies, curiosity, the stuff that has nothing to do with recovery and everything to do with feeling like yourself again. 🎨
Might be my favorite one. Substance use disorder shrinks your world, you forget what used to light you up. Painting, reading, that old hiking trail, an instrument gathering dust.
So when I ask clients “what makes you happy?” there’s always a pause first. Then something clicks. That pause is the good part it’s you, rediscovering you.
What’s something that brings you joy, that rings your chimes?👇

7 days. One week. OMG!
This book took every version of me to write. That’s the whole story.
Making Sobriety Stick, out September 22. I still can’t quite believe it.
What’s the chapter you’re in right now?
