Have you been suffering with knee pain? It may not be related to cartilage loss as you might have guessed. It may be a condition called “Patellar Tilt” and you may be born with it!! Some people, who have patellar tilt, may never experience pain. However, some will start experiencing knee pain either between 18-25 or 35-50. Mine started exactly at 35 years old and I’ve been trying to ignore it until NOW! Not anymore- now is the time to heal ❤️‍🩹

As I turn 48, I am extremely grateful to have spent this past week in London with my daughter 🥰💜🧿
20 years ago, I lived in the UK. I’d experienced both countryside living in Buckinghamshire and city life in London. It was such an emotional experience for me to be back in London again after 20 years 🙌🇬🇧💜 Seeing the building that I used to live in etc.
I realized that 20 years ago, I did not appreciate living in London that much. Coming back here opened my eyes and gave me an opportunity to understand where I would be happy or let’s just say happier:)
As much as I appreciate my life in the US, I feel that I belong to Europe. Or maybe I don’t belong anywhere; I’m just a world 🌎 citizen.
On the first day of my 48th year in this life, I feel grateful for my legs to still bear with me wherever I go. I’m not going to bore you by making a gratitude list. Instead, I’m going to leave you with this beautiful shot taken by my daughter in front of our flat’s door 🚪 last night 🤩

In the past, I’ve had people telling me that I was sharing too much! But, I’ve also had people saying that my post made their day because they needed a reminder.
There’s no particular reason why I haven’t been sharing.
- Maybe, I don’t feel inspired
- Maybe, I have too much on my plate
- Maybe, health is a limitation these days
- Maybe, I just got sick and tired of social media
- Or maybe it’s a combination of all of these…

This is probably the longest since my last post, 25 days! I’ve been doing a long social media detox, resting my mind and soul 🙌
As we age, we come to understand who we want to spend our energy on. Three of us have been friends way before kids. We trust eachother and value our friendship 🧿
I’m feeding my mind and soul with beautiful nature in Türkiye 🇹🇷, soaking in the sun 🌞, getting minerals from the sea 🌊, and enjoying amazing views inside and outside of water 💙
I’m feeding my body with healthy, nutritious homemade food and moving my body in a way that I enjoy 👌🏻
I’m feeding my soul with real friendship and healthy conversations 🙏🏻
And of course, we’re using essential oils on the boat too!
- A drop of Tea Tree on a cotton ball in my ear 👂 when my ear was clogged after I dived into water
- A daily drop of On Guard Protective Blend into my coffee for immune support and good taste ☕️
- Helichrysum on my daughter’s feet when fins were tight on her feet 👣 and top of her feet became red
- Lavender on my arm when I had burning sensation due to a fish 🐠 bite in the water
- Digestzen Digestive Blend on my friend’s tummy when she complained about heartburn ❤️‍🔥

Juice of real Bodrum Tangerine 🍊 with a splash of Gin- even my mom liked it:)
I already know how I’m going to miss these moments during winter 🥶 time in New Jersey.
Sun ☀️ and sea 🌊 take all my pain away… Filling myself up with Vitamin D and minerals from the Agean Sea. Good for my body, good for my brain, good for my soul 🙏🏻 What else would I want?
