I'm so excited to be heading to 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆: 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 — June 23–29 in Northern Maryland — and this year Allison Moon is joining the fun! 💛

Ever tried reading about Ta**ra and felt like you accidentally wandered into a new age wizard convention? 😅

Same. Which is exactly why I wrote this.

Deep down, a lot of us suspect there has to be MORE available to us than just "go through the motions" intimacy. More connection. More sensation. More spark. More feeling.

So here are 𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 — whether or not you ever eye-gaze with someone's third eye. 👀

✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 New vocabulary, new frameworks, and putting your body into new positions can interrupt autopilot and wake your brain back up. Sometimes the magic is finally giving yourself permission to experience something differently.

✅ 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 "𝗺𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹" 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 Underneath the jargon, there are often very practical, body-based skills that most people can learn and benefit from. The vocabulary can accidentally become gatekeeping — but it doesn't have to be.

✅ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁 I don't have to "believe" in seggsual energy to see what Ta**ra has to offer me. Sometimes the fastest way to decode the woo-woo is to safely explore the practice and notice what actually happens in your body. 😄

✨ 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀: 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Many of these ideas come from cultural and spiritual traditions that deserve respect. Borrowing ideas while erasing the people and histories they came from is kinda crappy human behavior. Humility, curiosity, and giving credit matter. 💛
