Taking a few minutes to stretch each day can help reduce back pain, improve flexibility, and keep you moving all summer long.

Try these quick, effective stretches:
🧘 Cat-Cow Stretch – On hands and knees, gently arch and round your back for 10 slow reps to improve spine mobility.
🦵 Knee to Chest – Lying down, pull one knee in and hold for 20 seconds each side to release lower back tension.
🌿 Child’s Pose – Sit back on your heels, reach forward, and hold for 30 seconds to stretch your back and hips.

💡 Small habits make a big difference—move often, use proper lifting techniques, and listen to your body.

If pain lingers, travels down your leg, or includes numbness or tingling, it may be time to see a Physical Therapist. PT can help relieve pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injuries with personalized care.

Your ankles play a crucial role in how you walk, run, squat, and balance. When ankle mobility is limited, your body compensates—often leading to pain or injury in the knees, hips, or lower back.

Improving ankle mobility isn’t just about flexibility. It’s about moving better, staying injury-free, and feeling confident in every step.

Why ankle mobility matters:
• Improves walking, running, and squat mechanics
• Reduces stress on knees, hips, and low back
• Enhances balance and stability
• Lowers injury and reinjury risk

How physical therapy helps:
• Restores joint mobility with hands-on treatment
• Improves strength and control around the ankle
• Corrects movement and gait mechanics
• Builds balance and confidence with personalized care

Strengthen Your Shoulder & Correct a Winged Scapula

A winged scapula occurs when the shoulder blade sticks out instead of lying flat against your back. It can cause:

👎🏻 Shoulder pain
👎🏻 Neck discomfort
👎🏻 Limited range of motion
👎🏻 Difficulty lifting objects

Targeted exercises can help strengthen the serratus anterior and surrounding muscles, improving posture, reducing pain, and restoring normal shoulder movement. Strengthen your shoulder blade muscles and improve posture with this simple exercise.

How to do it:
✅Hold a towel behind your back with both hands.
✅Gently pull the towel outward, squeezing your shoulder blades together.
✅Hold for 5–10 seconds, then relax.
✅Repeat 8–12 times.

This targets the upper back muscles to reduce shoulder pain, improve stability, and correct a winged scapula.
